Strange BSOD in XP (RC2 & Final)

Im going to describe this exactly, so bare with me for a second! Installed RC2 (2526) on my Athlon PC a week ago, system ran fine, with no problems whatsoever. I did a clean install of 2600 a few days ago, with 2 pieces of new hardware added: a second 8139 Network card and a 256 MB PC266 Samsung/Hyundai DIMM.

After I removed my PlexWriter 12/10/32A and my Pioneer DVD-A06S 16x on the device manager and let WinXP reinstall them, no CD burning program has been able to detect anything on the IDE BUS! Ok people, if this thread is mis-placed please do forgive me, for I find nowhere else to put it. My system can accept the following RAM specification: 128MB EDO BUFFERED DIMM 3. 3v 168 pin. Note that its MUST be buffered to work.

is there anyone who has the dv500 and got it to work under winxp. i installed the drivers i got on cd and updated it, now it's driver version 2. 01 (oh, and i'm using winxp final ). i can use my digital videocam, but the other features like capturing video don't work.

Typically, when doing general things on my PC, my mouse will stop mid-movement and then continue again, as if someone is pausing the action briefly. A similar thing happens withMP3s, but instead of the sound stopping, it 'strectches'.
