Problem with new Nvidia drivers

I just installed the 2181 nvidia drivers on 2000 server. . . everything went fine, but in a couple of my graphics apps (poser, carrara) I loose my cursor within the program. . . I can move the mouse and I get the highlights as the invisible cursor moves around, but I just cant see it.

Hi all, don't suppose there is anyone out there who has tried or knows of a way to get voodoo5's working in OpenGL. Will the latest Win2k drivers work and is there anyone who has tried them with the latest build (2600) ? Any help or tips appreciated !.

I know i saw that the WD Caviar WD1000BB HD has like a 13. 4 ms access time which seems alittle high compared to 12 ms range access times. Need definite answer about VIA drivers in XP?

Do I or do I not install hte latest VIA 4in1 drivers on XP? I have an Abit KT7A. The default XP install comes with VIA bus mastering drivers. I know in 2k you have to get rid of them as well as install the newest 4in1's to get decent HDD performance.

Does anyone know if the Abit KT7A-RAID motherboard supports an Athlon 1. 4Ghz? If so, what FSB and multiplier do you have to use? What CPU are you using the 200 or the 266 version? TIA.

I get this error message when I install winxp 2600, it comes after the first reboot. Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: <Windows root>\system32\hal. dll Please re-install a copy of the file above.

Some time my CD ROM or My PLEXTOR don't work

I have an IDE DRIVE and an IDE PLEXTOR 16*10*32 Some time in windows, or the CDROM or THE WRITER don't work. I see drives icones, but it ask me ton insert a CD. . . I' ve to restart Windows to resolv probleme Does anybody has this problem ??? Thank you Emmanuel.

small problem with burning cd's under 2000

I have noticed that when i try to burn cd's on the fly under win 2000 i get an error msg. in nero it says reading data failed and in disk juggler it comes up with a buffer error. Everything is ok when i copy disks straight from my HD so i dont think its the cd writer thats at fault.

I'm using WindowsXP RTM I was unable to use the feedback feature on the ifeel mouse in Windows XP the newest mouseware claims to support this feature however, i expereience error messgae like an exception error occured when trying to run main.

HD not detected

A pc I am working on caught a worm virus which modified the reg and won't boot. I tried to format but it said hard drive not detected and won't boot. I formatted it on another PC and when I reinstalled it won't detect the hard drive.

Help. I am quite the novice here and currently upgraded to win2000. As a result, my sblive!value (wdm) card seems to be NOT working. I have NO SOUND whatsoever. I've tried up drivers and everything. If anyone has any ideas, please reply.

Greetings. I'm about to do the XP thing, but before i give my machine a date with format, i have a couple queries. . . My mobo is an Aopen AX34 Pro II, which uses the VIA Apollo Pro 133A chipset. Any dramas with VIA kit? Do you still have to install the 4in1's? Finally, i have have an HighPoint ATA66 card.

Mixing drivers in XP not possible???

Tried lot of drivers(12,12 series. . . . )but im particulary interested in mixin 1290 for d3d and 1080 for openGL! Did it in WinMe with no problems at all!!!I mean mixed drivers, not that i mixed 1290 with 1080.
