Ok, I currrently have 2k and XP dual booted. I wanted to try XP out before I abandon my trusty 2000. In Device Manager my computer is listed and MPS multi processor PC. When i try to change the Driver the only options i get are MPS uniproc.

I've heard some rumor's that you shouldnt leave any CD's in your CD drive even when your computer is off, this some kind of old wives tale or is there any truth to this?! Why would it not be ok to do this!?!?

i'm interested in trying these out since i have an ASUS v7700 Deluxe GF2 GTS 32mb DDR, but how is the performance of 14. 10 drivers compared to the new 21. 81s or 21. 85s? does anybody know how they compare?.

Hello, i have a weird question here. On one of my gaming machines (the good one) im having sort of a problem with the hard drive saying that it is running ms-dos compatibility mode. Im not sure what this means, but in the description it says it will significantly decrease system performance.

I am looking to upgrade to a GeForce 1/2/3 soon. I was wondering which is the best one to go for which has TV-in as this is a major requirement. I don't care about TV-out, DV-out or any of that stuff, but it must have TV-In.

I just recently purchased a 1. 4 GHz T-bird on a Abit KG7. I put thermal paste and a Dragon Orb 3 on the CPU. After getting the system all up and running, ran it for 6 hours and it crashed hard. Now I can get it to post, but no OS will run on it.

I just upgraded from Win2k to WinXP. But ever since the installation, the mouse refuses to work. No movement, no buttons work, nothing. When I had this problem in Win2k, fiddling with via 4in1 drivers fixed the problem.

Anyone hear that winxp isnt as good as win2k with modems. i hear it is optimized for dsl/cable. I cant find any drivers for my modem and the connect speed is very slow. aNY WEBsites with drivers for xp?.
