A friend of mine has winxp installed on his notebook and the sound works ok. But after awhile the sound stops working and the in device manger the driver says hardware not functioning code 10. When u shut off the puter and turn it back on it well work but a reset doesn't.

can't update sblive wdm anymore

Hi, I just reinstalled winxp to fine tune my install a little bit better. On my previous WinXP install I could update my sblive drivers, now it dosen't show up in windows update at all. This mean official drivers coming soon or what? Anyone else notice this? Sigh.

I have a p3 750 system running windows 2000 and a geforce 2 mx. I have been using the detonator 12. 4 drivers for a while and have had no problem. I heard about the detonator xp drivers and i thought i would give them a try.

Hi, I am planning to by an Athlon XP soon. I was just wondering if the reinstallation of Windows XP is needed to enable SSE support for the processor ? Or will the OS pick it up as it goes ? I remember reading about fresh installation with the new Morgan core Durons.

For folks who have HP scanjet 5200CXI using USB connection under windows XP: I have not been successful with my scanner to work with Windows XP. I only get the usb device controller to detect my scanner but don't know what it is as unknown device.

Hi guys, I just need some advice on SCSI Hard Drive Write Cache. Long time ago I had a SCSI Ultra 160 IBM drive that failed on me when I remember enabling Write Cache in Windows XP at RC1. When an error appeared in Windows XP it totally destroyed the SCSI Ultra 160 IBM drive.

I'm trying to install a HP Laserjet 3100 as a network printer on my Win XP, but it wont work. . If I install it with the original drivers it gets installed but when I try to print nothing happens. . And when I install it with so called updated drivers it wont get installed at all.

Hi guys! Here's my dilemma. I have a main hub (10/100 dual line speed, autosensing, 24 port hub) that has three 8 port 10Base T hubs uplinking to it. The new main hub (10\100) was put in 8 months ago and was running smoothly up until this past weekend.
