CD-Rom Auto Play

How do you enable it?I know sounds dumb. Normally you would go to Device Manager and select the CDROM you want to adjust. Select Properties and then choose the Autoplay Tab. Well that Tab is unavailable on my system now for some reason.

USB Host to Host Bridge?

Hi, In my device manager, I have this yellow question mark (meaning it is not installed correctly) in the other devices category. The branch under it that supposedly has the problem is USB Host to Host Bridge.

Anybody else notice that depending on the web site you look at, home routers/firewalls can fluxuate as much as $250 for the exact same model? For example, the D-Link DI-704 is sometimes listed as $329.

NT4 TS power saving

Having problems with power savings on my nt4 terminal server. I have searched all over and went through all help without one word about power savings. Since i sleep in the same room as the computers i want my hard drives to shut down.

Windows XP BSOD: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I have recently done a clean install of Windows XP from a reformatted hard drive. All the drivers for my hardware were succesfully installed, and everything seemed to be working great until, BAM! The computer restarts itself.

What is this infinite loop crap?

I had made a reference to this in another thread, but this is really starting to make me mad. I get a checkerboard BSOD telling me that I have an infinite loop problem, etc. Why does this happen? Is it an XP problem? Other people have this problem, evidently, because I've heard it mentioned.

Hi, can anyone help me make up my mind on what to do with my old CPU unit? Its in good shape, and I would like to see it put to work (it has served me very well). Its a Dual-pentium pro 200 MHZ machine with 512KB of cache (per processor) and 256MB EDO DIMM RAM.

The maual for my Abit BX133-RAID states that HPT 370 IDE controller is designed to support high-speed mass storage. Thus we don't suggest you connect non-disk devices that use the ATA/ATAPI interfaces, such as CD-ROM to HPT 370 IDE connector.

Ok, I'm in a world of hurt here and I'm looking for some help. Here's the issue. I'll be as specific as possible. This problem is definately repeatable, I get the same results on Windows XP and Windows 2000.
