keyboard not responding after install !!!

hey. . i installed win xp pro and during the installation everything was fine and of course the keyboard functioned. after the final boot windows starts up,asks me to put in a user name. . . but my keyboard does not responde.

2nd harddrive not listed in my computer

a friend of mine has 2 harddrives both plugged on a ATA100 controller on a msi motherboard. In windows 2000 and xp only the first 30 gig drive is showed, not the 10 gig one. The only thing we found to make it visible was going to computer management and make it a dinamic disk.

I have a question and not sure where to go anymore for help. . . . I went to XP and my video card is not strong enough for it. I need to invest in a new one snd not quite sure what to get. Have been to all the stores and all they want to do is sell me an AGP and I have to have a PCI card.

Is there such a thing as an ATA100 cable?

I looked in my tower, and my 80-pib cable says ATA66 on it. Yet, it allways my bios to detect my hard drive as ATA100, DMA5 mode and same with Sisift Sandra. I'm wondering, is there an actual ATA100 cable I can buy or are they all 80-pin ATA66 cables?.

Hi Guys, I have been noticing a problem with the xp driver on windows xp. I have twinview system on asus v7100(geforce mx 2). Now when I enabled the twinview system, it enables it, but if i restart everything gets messed.

im conisdering a TV TUner/FM Radio wif Remote and supporting windows XP i want one wif at least Stereo TV and be able to caputer videos well at standard TV resolution, prob under $200 australian dollars (i think is about $100 american the Win TV dbx FM looks to be a good option but i have no idea on the price of it ...

Im currently using a TNT 2 Ultra card from Leadtec. It's a good card (although a little out of date) and I'm thinking of getting a Geforce 3 card this spring. The thing is, when i connect the coputer to the TV, the screen wont blow up to fit the entire TV screen.

I have a Shuttle AV40 and love it, although I can't seem to get a stable overclock. I have narrowed it down to the DDR that I have it's Kingmax PC2100 MicroBGA. I noticed in a. pdf document from kingmax that the memory modules I have are only capable of 133x2 at cl 2.

I/O error on CD read!

I have been using a Pioneer DVD (Slot in)for about 2 years in both W2K and now in XP. I also use a SCSI card (Adaptec AHA 2940) to which I connect a CD-RW (Yamaha 8x8x24x) (Since 6 months). This config has worked fine thru both RC1 and RC2 and with the final XP release (2600) which i currently use.

RAM Problems.

Is there a way to know, or to check if RAM is damaged?. XP hangs sometimes and I think is the RAM that is making it hang. It hangs when Im burning a CD, listening to music(had to disable all sounds), When using memory consuming applications like Director and Photoshop at the same time.

I have a friend who tried to install Windows 2000 pro. But when he puts his video display at 32 bit colour, it causes the sound to crackle while lots of video activity is going on (like Windows media player vis and games).

Has anybody successfully installed XP on this board? When i boot from cd and the setup loads it hangs when it says starting winxp. This is right before u would press f8 to accept agreement. Ive installed this version on many other pc's and it works fine.

HELP!!! Hercules GeFORCE 2 MX is under PCI MODE!?? It is supposed to be AGP. It says this under the driver properties. I have Windows XP Professional, ASUS A7V-E and AMD ATHLON. I also notice a decrease in frames per second in games.
