Hi Guys! I've a very BIG problem: my 3com Homeconnect Pci Adsl Modem doesn't work on my XP RC1 :-( I've tried to install the W2K drivers but still doesn't connect to the provider in PPP over ATM. It can't figure the server outside.

Hello all. I have a Asus P3B-F mobo (Intel 440BX chipset), which I have been running a 550MHz P3 (100MHz FSB) for quite some time. The board does not officially support 133MHz FSB, although there are several options in the bios, one of which allows you to make this setting.

this solves my problem. . . in the bios i change AGP aperture size from 64 to 32 mb no more blue screens when i'm playing 3d or open-gl games.

New Official Via 4in1 drivers 4. 36v available for download at They include a 'silent' install of the patch to fix the 'infinite loop'error seen with XP and highperformance graphics cards. It is a silent install so all you will see is that the INF driver is being updated, but it will install.

Here is my problem. I'm using the Linksys BEFSR41 Router on our home network here, but I can upload files over ICQ with no problems at all. However, I cannot receive files via ICQ. I am using ICQ 2001 v5.

Question. I am running WinXP Pro and it will not recognize my SCSI Plextor 12/10/32 as a CD-RW. It will only recognize it as a standrad CD-ROM. Therefore, WinXP will not allow me to copy anything to my burner.

Hi. I just got a DC30 pro from pinnacle systems, and I have discovered that the drivers do not work under windows xp. The windows 2000 drivers work great. . . in windows 2000, but in windows xp they will install but you cannot run the capture program.

Hi, I have a CUV4x-DLS mainboard running Dual PIII 933's. I am dual booting Windows 2000 and XP. My intellimouse works under 2000 but not under XP ( jerky across the screen ) Other people I know use this mouse with no problems under XP.

Are samsung harddrives any good?

I'm still hesitating between two hardrives. A maxtor ATA133 40GB (see other post) and the cheap samsung 20 GB 5400RPM as a backup drive. I would like to know if samsung has a good reputation. Are there any known issues with samsung drives? Thanks.
