Hi , I am building another sys and It has been my experience in the past that has led me to consider the harddrive atrib to my sys more thoughtfully. My delema is would 2 -75,000rpm- Harddrives on a Promise Fasttrak 133 raid0 controler be Faster then 1 -10,000rpm- Harddrive ata 133 ?.

I need to know where I can get a set of drivers for My e-machines e-tower 366-c. All I get are a chirping sounds from my speakers even though XP says that the drivers are installed and working correctly.

I was wondering if any one has read this tech notes (Q312505)and has this DLL it state it corrects some problems with OpenGL but is not available for download you have to contact support to get it the is OpenGL32.

I recently bought a new motherboard and cpu, see below for system details. When trying to install Windows XP. It gets to the part that says Setup is starting Windows XP and occasionally I get a little bit beyond that, but not much.

I have an Athlon 1ghz with 256 mb 133 ram. I'm looking to upgrade my system here soon, but i don't want to blow a huge wad of cash. I haven't read anything on the latest P4's and Athlon XP's except that XP's cost less.

CD spinup problems

Hiya all I've been having a real shitty problem with XP. Everytime I put a CD in my drive, it just spins and spins for ages. I have to eject it and close the draw, then it works fine. This used to happen sometimes on 2k, but it would BSOD if I'd open the door.

Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-103 + working software?

Hello, I have the Pioneer DVD burner, but CDRWin - does not see the burner, although Golden hawk says it should Fireburner - errors with any cue sheets, that work fine with an HP burner i have Nero - XP problems installing Adaptec i know works, but i burn alot of bin/cue's, so this does not help.

I just installed. NET Enterprise Beta 3 on a test server. It is configured with 8 processors and 32 gigs of RAM. I can see it during start up and when I open the System Information in Windows, it sees all the physical memory.

hey. . . Whenever the computer boots,after the bios screen shows up and my hard disks and my cd rom are detected (for 5 second or less), there is a long pause of 10 to 15 seconds and only then the hard disk is accessed and the OS starts to load.

Hello everybody. . . Under windows XP, I usually receive the known message IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ! It mostly arrive when I am listening mp3's with winamp, after 5 minutes. It sometimes arrives during games or others applications, too.

dual monitors with win2k

I want to be able to use two monitors on my computer. I've been reading about the ATI Radeon VE dual head card and many people claim it doesn't work well with Win2000. Can I enable dual monitors if I use 1 AGP card and 1 PCI card? I mostly do video editing and 3D work (very little gaming).

Anyone else having TV-out problems

It appears that when I use the Refresh Rate Fix I can't use TV-out. If I just install just the 27. 42 drivers TVout works great but the refresh fix won't, but when I install the same drivers modified to use the fix the TVout is junk.

Ok, here is a rundown on my system lately. I had been running XP. In XP everything was seemengly messed up. Randomn freezes and problems with XP reading my drives on my Promise 66 card. The frezzes I thought were from maybe cooling, but i would have RC5 running and then play a movie on WMP at the same time.

Choopy Sound in XP [NES emulator]

Hi All, I am quite sad to find out my favorite NES emulator, RockNESX has severe sound problems under XP. This is due to the funky changes Micro$oft decided to make in XP regarding sound emulation and time-frame skipping etc.
