Need a lil help with sound

I have a SB ensoniq audio PCI 128 sound card and its buggin me. I moved from a p3 450MHz system and a intel 440bx motherboard to an amd xp 1700+ and an asus a7a266 motherboard. When i did this my older sound card didnt want to make the switch and decided to freeze when windows tried detecting the drivers for it.

Smart and Friendly CD Rocket 8020 in Windows 2000

Hello, I own a Smart and Friendly CD Rocket 8020 CD burner (firmware v1. 24, the latest). It works beautifully in DOS and Windows 98. However, when I boot into Windows 2000 Professional (SP1) the drive is not available.

USB2.0 and ASUS A7V333

The USB2. 0 drivers on my ASUS CD is not working in Windows XP. This device cannot start. (Code 10) is all it can do. I don't know what a Code 10 is, so I'm stuck. Can anyone help me out with this? Or give me a link to some more useable WinXP drivers? Tarzan.

ABIT 21.83 -> NVIDIA 28.32... error in DESK.CPL

I have an ABIT Geforce 3 Ti200, using the 21. 83 drivers supplied on the ABIT CD-ROM. Whenever i try and update the drivers (ie switch to the NVIDIA dentonator models) i can't access the advanced settings in the display panel, it says 'error in DESK.

XP is not plug&play-detecting my Voodoo 2 card

I have an old Diamond Voodoo 2 card (ok I know this is old and obsolete, dont need to say I have to buy a new one). I had windows 2000 Pro and it was working fine with 3DFX beta drivers. But then I migrated to Windows XP, and installed the NT Compatible drivers, and my voodoo stoped working.

i currently use the 27. 70s for my visiontek ti 4600, but would prefer to update due to the alleged performance increase given by the later drivers, unfortunately i dont get the nvidia display properties addin (display properties, advanced) i can use Nview quite happily, much as i find it a useless venture on nvidi ...

Man, the image quality on the PNY model sucks horrible a$$! my old voodoo 3 3000 from 2 years ago had better tv out. text is completely fuzzy and totally unreadable! any one else got this problem? any one got a different brand of geforce 4 with tv out that rocks? damnit, the promise of superior tv out is one of the ...

I installed Windows 2000 on my system a few days ago and everything works great, except my Thrustmaster Nascar Supersport Wheel. First when I tryed to install it, the setup had an error saying it was only designed to run under Windows '95 and '98.

Raid striping performance

Hi, just installed 2 40gb baracuda 7200 rpm on my Highpoint raid conntroller of the asus A7M266-e and dont think the performance is nowhere near what it should be. HDTACH shows about 30mb/sec trancsfer and 12m seek.

I have an abit hot rod pro raid card that uses the highpoint 370 chipset i want to know what the maximum sized is for a striped raid array on that chip. I was going to buy 2 61 gig drives but i am not sure that it will support over 120 gigs in an array.

Hard Drive "Config" question...

I installed a new 20 gig HD yesterday and lost use of a program that runs off our at work network. The program is dos based and we have 2 machines here that run windows 2000 and this program. There have been no problems at all until now.
