Replacing hard drive under XP

Just ordered a Wd 120 GB w/8mb cache on it. I am replacing my old 40 GB. Can I copy that drive to the new one? Or do I have to Reinstall?.

Hi, just a quickie. . . I have 5 UW SCSI Hard Disks on an Iwill UW controller. I wanted to get a RAID card for these, but is it possible to have 3 drives in RAID0? The reason i say this i because i have 2 x 4.

Linksys drivers for Win2k?

Anyone have the Win2k drivers for the Linksys Etherfast 10/100 version 2 (LNE100TX)? I've tried the ones they have on the linksys site but Windows tells me that it can't be installed because the type of INF isn't correct.

CDRW reads itself just fine BUT.......

I just got a new CDRW. 32x12x40x It will write just fine. It will read just fine what it just wrote to the CD. But, even the CDrom on the same machine can't read what the CDRW wrote. It will not read from other PCs either.

Hi, the last few days my mums computer has started being very strange. While the computers being used, general internet usage,viewing hdd contents. The computer will pause, sometimes lockup but sometimes just pause for 10-30seconds.

I have just sold some bits to a friend (Abit KT7-RAID, 128MB Crucial SDRAM and a Duron 800). He couldn't get them to work, so he gave me the task of getting it all to work. Installation of the OS will go problem free - not an issue.

Is there a limit to the number of cameras?

Running 2k, is there a limit to the number of cameras that can be accessed with video software like Videowave and Media Studio? I have 2 USB cameras and a AGP card with a video input but the software only sees 2 out of the 3 cameras.

I'm running windows xp on a AMD XP 2000+ which had 256mb ram. After adding another 256mb i used to get this error at boot up so i had it replaced. The new one seemed to work well but now i am getting this error randomly, i got it this morning when i was editing a text document after about 25mins or so.
