Asus A7V266-E any good?

Please let me know your experiences, good or bad ones, about the Asus A7V266-E Mainboard, especially if it has similar / same problems with data corruption as boards with KT133A / 686b Chipsets. I want to kick out my Abit KT7A-Raid (with the bugged 686b Southbridge) and replace it with the Asus A7V266-E.

voodoo2 on win2000

I seem to have a very common problem with the voodoo2 card on win2000. I've searched the forum, and found some similar problems, but no solutions that works. I have a voodoo2 card of unknown brand (which have worked very well in windows98/me with the reference drivers), so there's nothing wrong with the card itself.

ATI All In Wonder 128

Having serious problems with ATI All In Wonder 128 on Win2k SP2. System freezes while watching TV after just a few minutes. System will freeze after a few hours while not watching TV. Temps all ok. Has anyone had success with this card? Have all the latest drivers & ATI software.

Power Supply Question

I currently have a 300watt on a P3 500mhz and 256mb ram. Im gettin a new mobo and a AMD XP 1900+ and 512mb ram, and was wondering if my current power supply could handle the new hardware or should i move up to a 400watt.

RAID Questions.

Im probably going to get a motherboard with RAID 0/1 capabilities and I was readin some of the stuff about it in the mobo Manual. It said in there that the RAID volumes will be the size of the smallest disk and that any space left on a larger would be unusable.

Hi: I have a dual-boot system. . Windows 98 and XP Pro. They actually co-exist quite well with only an occassional glitch that can normally be fixed or eliminated. However, XP will not recognize my CD-ROM or my Burner.

XP Video card suggestions

I have a old 450mhz, p3. Running 2k then xp (both fresh installs) i have had nothing but driver problems with an ATI Rage 128 and an ATI allinwonder pro 128 cards. I have tried all the updates and different versions of drivers in the last few years, and now I am just done with it.

I have been reading a lot about how Intel is spending big money to tell people that the + rating on AMD chips is misleading. Also I have read that they are comparing the AMD XP 2000+ to the P4 2. 2 Gig and so on.

Mouse driver help in NT4

Im running NT4 SP6 Workstation on a pc here at home. The other night I knocked over the tower unit and it locked up so I reset it. Now the mouse driver no longer loads correctly, I verified the mouse is still functional when I booted to a floppy application.

hi i dont know **** about comps i just installed a secondary HD on my comp and i have 1 exactly the same already as my master they both 30 gig HDs but the new 1 i just hooked up is only reading 1. 97gb why if its a 30 gig HD will it say 1.

Okay, I've got a 20GB Maxtor, that I think is going kaput. First, I get a new motherboard (Epox 8K3A+) and, now this hard drive seems to be giving me errors from hell, yet a 2nd 40GB drive hasn't be givin me any trouble at all.

I like task pane. How can i get it to DEFAULT ON or STAY ON all the time. It comes and goes as it f*ckin pleases, or until I got to View Task Pane or Right click on the Toolbar and bring it back. Some one help me for a change.

Asus A7V333 is not compatible w/ ATI Radeon All-in-one-wonde

Have anyone have compatibility problem with the Asus A7V333 and ATI Radeon all-in-one wonder video card? my login screen on windows xp freeze everytime it get there. I put the Nvidia Geforce 2 in there and no problem, but when switch over the ATI, the problem appear again.
