I need the drivers for the above card. This site says they were released, however the FTP link requires authentication for some reason. The adaptec site is of little help as usual for this card, not even mentioning the fact that the drivers were released! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! (esp.

Hello everybody. . . I use the 27. 70 bêta drivers (detonator) for my geforce II mx 400 under micro$oft windows XP pro. Like a lot of my friends, when I play (with opengl or direct 3d) I have a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

Is a page file really necessary if you have enough ram? I mean i have a LRGE amount of ram on my system, and virtual memory is just using the Hard drive as temporary ram right? so could i just DISABLE the page file ( Virtual memory) altogether? just a thought.

I have searched these boards (& others) for help, but so far have come up short. If there is a similar thread somewhere on these boards, please point me to it for help! Ive got an ASUS a7a266 MB, supporting 2 DDR and 3 SDR modules, Well right now I have a Samsung 256 module and I just recently got a Nanya 256 DDR stick from a friend, my problem is if both modules are installed I got a blue screen of death from api.

somehow my comp set my drive letter to B instead of A and i wanna know how i can change it back to A. I've went into the control panel and to computer management, but its not listed under the drives.

Asus A7N266-C sees only half the RAM

I just bought an A7N266-C mobo (nForce 415-D chipset) with an Athlon XP 1900 and 2 512 MB strips of Mushkin PC2100 DDR. My problem is that the system only recognizes them as 256 MB strips, so it boots up with 512 MB total.

ok here is the more bizarre thing i've seen yet. i tried to see how my system would work with the athlon xp 1800+ so i pulled it from my friends computer and put it in my and for some strange reason i got a stop: 0x0000008e (0x0000005, 0x80844c68, 0xf9e82d2c, 0x00000000) error code.

Ok, after adding my 120gig hard disk, I've maxed out my IDE controllers. Currently have the Orb drive disabled, and I have a Zip drive laying around which I can put in the system. If I get a PCI IDE controller card, will I be able to use 6 or 8 IDE devices?.

Can't Boot!

Ok, I don't know what has happend at all, I turned my computer on about 10 mins ago and it loads up to the windows loading screen, the screen then goes black as if it was just about to load the desktop but stays black with no activity at all.

i just built the system below. the H/D's are ATA/66,would it be worth upgrading to a ATA/100 drive? Would i see a big difference in performance? Also, if i got a 80 GIG ATA/100 and also used one of the 40 gig ATA/66, would they run at their rated ATA speeds,or would they both run at ATA/66? Thanks for any help.
