tv tuner & sb live 5.1 line in probs

Hey all, I've got a strange problem with my SB Live 5. 1 sound card. I just bought a ATI TV Wonder VE TV Tuner card and put in my computer. The first PCI slot I put it in didn't let it work (resource conflict) but then second slot i tried worked fine.

New system, what to get?

Going to build my first sorta-kick-*** home system. Long overdue. I'm leaning Athlon XP 2100+ w/ Asus A7V266e motherboard, Volcano 7 Fan, Enermax 350 watt ps and 1G Micron PC 2100. Half assed considering one of the new 333 based chipsets with USB2.

Ok guys. Got a problem, and would appreciate some help. It's not usual that I get any problems at all, but I'm stymied by this one. . . . I just bought a USB 2. 0 PCI controller with an NEC chip on it.

What is the point of having a DVD player in your PC? ANd on top of that to have a DVD player at anything above 2x? What's the ****ing point? No one is releasing any software or games on the format.

Hi to everyone out there, Since I changed to XP I encounter very strange error messages like: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal IO port address (0x71), which lies in the 0x70 - 0x71 protected address range.

I have a visiontek geforce 3, I have tried using the 23. 11's that I used with my previous geforce2 ultra, and I get infinite loop errors in 3dmark. So I installed the 28. 32's and they work fine, but the performance is lackluster.

The card is running great under Win2k, but causes problems during the installation of the OS: the first DOS part which is done in the normal DOS resolution where Setup is loading various drivers works flawlessly.

Hello, I'm trying to set up my midi equipment to work with Windows XP Pro. Everything was fine under windows 2000, but I can't say the same thing about WinXP Pro: The system correctly found my card, I went to get latest XP drivers to enable AudioHQ and downloaded latest Microsoft Update.

quickcam VC USB under XP pro

HI, I am unable to make my QuickcamVC USB work under XP pro It detects a USbB hardware but it is unable to install it. Logitech's drivers only install the drivers for the camera using parallel port.

sorta strange problem I just noticed. I just tried reading a dvd yesterday since installing XP a few months ago.
