Hi have a small problem with my GA-8IRXP and Geforce 4 4400 from creative, i dont get good frame rates Ran the following benchmarks 3D MArk 2001 SE and got 4400 and GL Mark gave me an average of 21 FPS.

P4 Temperature

Hi I have a P4 1. 8A and and ASUS P4B266 motherboard. It runs REALLY well but I was wondering what temperature the mobo and processor are supposed to run at. The mobo is running about 30C and the processor at about 40C.

Which Chipset 845G or 850E?

Buying a new MB with a 2. 26 GHZ P4. Just need to know which MB would be best. ABIT BG7 - which has the 845G chipset or the ASUS P4T533-C which uses Rambus? Cost isnt an issue but Im level headed enough not to want to spend double counting the PC1066 RAM.

Hi all, I was wondering if it's at all possible to get the resolution on my system down to 640 x 480, since I have a GeForce2 , even the basic MS drivers put the system to a minimum resolution of 800 x 600, and I have no access to anything lower.

Voodoo 3 3000G 16mb on XP HELP!

Here is the problem. It is a Voodoo 3 3000G 16mb card running on Windows XP, 500mhz Pentium III, 160 mb ram. We are trying to run counter-strike with it, on Direct3d (says that opengl isn't supported) 800x600.

On the compatibility page, someone reports this MB is Windows 2000 compatible with the explanation Download Windows 2000 compatible bios. Does anyone know where I can find such a bios. The latest from FIC is no help.

Liteon DVD drive has problems reading DVDs

I've got a wierd problem with my LiteOn DVD-163 drive. It will read CDs/CDR's etc just fine. But if I put in any DVD (Matrix, etc. ) it can't read it. Acts like there's nothing in the drive. However, if I leave the DVD in the drive and reboot the system it will read it just fine and I can swap DVDs in or out.

I have a Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop. I had to reinstall Windows XP on it and when I went to adjust the refresh rate it tells me I have multiple monitors. And none of those are able to be set at higher than 60hertz.

Has ANYONE managed to successfully enable the TV out function of this card, as I have loaded the latest nVidia driver available, with no result. TVtool is also completely unresponsive, as it will not even execute.

When can the KT333A Chipset be expected on boards? Or is it

Via has released the KT333A as KT333. According to their specs, the only way to tell if the board has the real KT333 or it´s predecessor is the AGP speed. The old one has only 4x, while the new one supports even 8x AGP.
