TV Tuner card flickers with new Athlon XP 2000

I haven't been able to figure this one out yet. I recently upgraded my CPU from a Duron 750 (OC'd to 900) to an Athlon XP 2000 (Palamino). I've got a generic BT878 PCI TV tuner/recorder card. I like to record a lot of my favorite programs to DIVX.

W2K SP2 will not recognize full capacity of 20GB Maxtor

Windows 2000 will only recognize the first 8GB of my Maxtor DiamondMax Plus. However it will recognize the full capacity of my 80GB Western Digital. Windows ME and Windows XP both recognize my Maxtor as 20GB and my BIOS does too, the drive has the Auto setting configured in BIOS.

Windows XP unable to work with a FAT32 hard drive

Dear folks, this is weird. Its driving me nutts. I have a FAT32 formatted Quantum Fireball LM30 (27GB formatted) hard drive. Recently I upgraded to Windows XP only to find to my surprise that Windows XP thinks the hard drive failed and requires a format.

Error message duing windows 2k install

I get this error message during the install of Windows 2k on a recently formatted HD: An unexpected error (268353600) in line 1562 in D:\nt\private\ntos\boot\setup\arcdisp. c I think that's a Ramdrive of some sort, because d: is my cd-rom drive and that directory isn't on the cd.

When I downloaded the latest drivers for my ati aiw 8500, on reboot XP insisted on initializing the new hardware found wizard and despite canceling out of it, the previous display drivers were apparently reinstalled.

Developing Win2k Parallel Port Drivers

I'm planning on doing some driver development involving a parallel port device. I'll be developing Win9x, Win(NT,2k,XP) and Linux drivers (possibly also BSD and HURD, will look into this). What I'm after is any information that may help me write the Win2k drivers.

when i use the 1. 50 drivers, i get at random a sound crash. A high pitch tone comes up and everything slows down. this is w/ games like opflash, strikeforce (ut) etc with the 2. 03 drivers i get at random a blue screen mentioning cwcspud which is part of the hercules drivers.

Games crash in XP, using voodoo card

I have Voodoo4 graphic card, and my problem is that i cant play games in XP. the games crash and suddenly freez, or they aint start-up at all. . . i dont have an original set of driver for XP, because 3dfx is out of business, and i have to use a 3rd-party drivers, who made by pplz.

ATi TV Wonder VE, TV is all garbled!!! Help please!

Hi there, I got an ATi TV Wonder VE card. And when I try to open the TV program and watch TV, the TV is all garbled up. Horizontal lines at about a 5 degree tilt, going down to the left. All the color and stuff is all mixed up in it.

CableModem users: Tried NIC connection vs. USB & diff?

The thing is with some modems that connect thru USB (ADSL is the best example), they use up your CPU cycles, like Soft modems/WINmodems. Whereas if they are internal PCI/ connect through an NIC card they dont use any (NIC cards have onboard processors, like the some of the office connect's).

I just bough a computer with the following characteristics, I already have a Microsoft sidewinder force feedback pro (Game port) The joystick doesn’t work at all in the new computer in games such as Microsoft Flith Simulator 2002 Professional Edition , but it is recognized in the game controller / Game options window.
