Receiving Phone Calls Through Headset

no one seems to be able to answer this. I want to hook my headset/microphone setup so that I can receiving calls through my 56k modem, like call centres do, except without having to put a headset in a phone itself.

Radeon 9000 driver problem

tried searching, no help. . I got myself a Sapphire Radeon 9000 Atlantis video card with 128MB of RAM, and I installed it and booted up into Win XP, but for some reason, I can't get any drivers to work with it.

installed the 40. 41's and tried to play GTA3, go the following Stop Error: A Thread tried to release a resource it did not own. How Can i fix this? I can't use any of the new Detonator drivers such as the 29.

BSOD when I unplug the network cable.

I'm running windows 2000 on a Dell Optiplex GX200. Everything is fine, works great. BUT, when I unplugged the network cable i got a BSOD. I've tried several things. Wake on Lan is not on. Anything having to do with the integrated NIC is disabled.

Weird USB gamepad problem

This one really bugs me and it only happens in winxp. I have a USB propad 8 gamepad. As soon as i plug it in it is detected right away and runs fine for about 2 minutes. As soon as i start using it though all the sudden i hear that USB 'disconnect' sound and the pad stops working.

Okie, I've been having major problems here ever since WinXP SP1 and I'll just say before I get started. . . yes, I reformatted and the issues keep coming back. Using Catalyst v2. 3 drivers for my Radeon 8500 Using latest drivers for Hauppauge WinTV Go PCI and latest WinTV2000.

Anthony Toste and Hujer HoE have managed to make us a working drivers for Voodoo 3/4/5. . thanx for the great effort guys. . really. . . Zerosignull had a shot for Voodoo 3/4/5 too. . . BUT why everyone seems to neglect Voodoo 2.

now i get to start a help thread. my neighbors got a unknown via mobo and a p3 i loaded xp last night and everything runs perfect (though slow) they have a hp usb photoprinter that installs and everything but when u try to print more than a line the print fails and the printer disconnects.

I'm going to buy a cheap 10mbps Diamond HomeFree kit. It doesn't have any WinXP drivers, but it does have Win2k drivers. Will I be able to use the Win2k drivers on XP without problems? Thanks. .

I recently purchased a PIII 1GHz slot1 100mhz bus CPU for my Abit BE6-II board. I flashed the bios before installing the new chip to be sure it would post right. After installing the new CPU, the system will no longer post.

Hey there, I haven't asked a question in a long time, but this one doesn't make any sense to me. I booted my computer today, and Windows 2000 said it found new hardware. I thought this was a bit strange, but I went through the wizard, but it couldn't identify what it had found.

DVD ROM Drive issue

I'm having a problem with my toshiba sdm 1212 dvd rom drive and windows xp pro. When the drive is in dma mode 2 I get errors copying files from it and it will not play dvds or anything inserted. The error says something about an i/o error occuring.

the instructions for installing the firmware for my burner says i have to disable DMA, and disable Auto Insert Notification on that drive then install the firmware. . the problem im haveing is in XP when i got to disable those options, i can change the DMA but when i try to disable the Auto Insert Notification its ...

I have a Seagate 40 gb baracuda hdd. i had Win2k and i tried to install Red Hat Linux. I couldn't adjusted swap partition which improves the speed of Linux. Also linux can run without swap partition.
