Problem installing Sidewinder Dual Strike in WIN2K

i have WIN2K with SP3 and if i try to install my joystick Sidewinder dual strike with Administrator profiles i always receive the message you must have administrator right to install. . . ! I had seen this problem in other post but there is no solution , have you a solution to help me ? ps : sorry for my english.

Worked fine under 98, can't get it out of P10 mode in XP. I have it hooked up as device 0 on the secondary IDE cable with a Zip drive. i tried unhooking the zip and it didn't help. Transferring from it is very slow and sometimes I get I get error reading drive.

Please help just reinstalled WinXP and now cdrom not working

ok I can see my CD-rw drive and run cds off it. I can see the icon for my dvd-rom but nothing will read or play in it. I know this drive works, I just reinstalled winxp with the same dvd-rom drive. If I go into Safe mode it works fine.

problem with D3D

Hi I have a problem with my geforce2 MX card, when I use DX Diagnostic tool (test D3D) it gives me an error message: D3D test result: Failure at step 8 (Creating 3D Device): HRESULT =0x887602eb (error code) and I also can't install 3DMark2001 SE, becase it me similar error: Could not create D3D Device.

Pinnacle PCTV pro wierd problem

Hello again everybody, i was wondering if anyone came accross a very wierd problem that i encountered after installing PCTV Pro's software (5. 11). The TV starts normally and it plays normally, but after 1 min (more or less) the sound stops playing.

These new ATI Catalyst 2. 5 drivers work great under Windows 2000. I am running a Radeon 8500LE and the lockups with older GL programs in 2. 4 are now gone. This set also adds some new Control Panel options.

I've had my intellimouse for about a year and now since i've reformatted its been having problems with games. The mouse works fine in windows 2000 but when a run a game the mouse usually continuly clicks the left click button.

Laptop and monitor problem

I got a laptop and I just got a second hand monitor. Now it's a HP Ergo 1024. When I connect it to the laptop, the laptop is shutted down, and when I turn on the power button, it goes on and off. So in other words it won't turn on.

Sidewinder Precision Pro joystick; can't install Windows XP

I have the above joy stick that used to work fine for my W98SE. It doesn't seem to load up in WXP. My CD is Sidewinder version 3. 0. I see at MS they have a version 3. 02 that is associated with W95 and W98 but isn't obvious if different from mine or works with XP.

Well, i found this link roday, it seems SiS have already given some hints as to whats gonna happen. Good thing bout this is that it supports Dual DDR333. This means that theoretically the MAX bandwidth is gonna be 5.

Hi all I bought a Geforce2 a couple of months ago, but i could never make it work. I have a Soyo 6ba+ (i know it´s too old, but i can buy another one now ) and i tried installing all kind of drivers but it still hangs up on the Welcome to Windows 2000 screen.

Compatible burner for NT

I have to replace a HP 7200i burner in a NT machine here at work. It is currently being used to archive data, but due to it's lack of speed, wasn't used to often. I thought I'd just buy a Lite-on burner and put it in, but am wondering what my options are for what is compatible.

I got a deal on a Lexmark X63 printer/fax, only I can't return it or I'll get hammered with return shipping and restocking fees. I thought it had a driver that would work with my NT4 server. . . NOT! 9x, 2000 and XP drivers will not work.

Well, I have the problem, that the driver for the HP Deskjet 720C that is shipped with Windows 2000 is crap and HP doesn't support this operating system. Any idead which alternate driver can be used or how I can get an existing driver to work ?.

I think my kenwood 72x is about to kick the bucket. It starts up slow, doesnt like to read burned cd's and has been through alot. Considering I bought this guy when they first came out Im surprised it still works.
