What is the voltage on a Asus V7100DC video card? Been to Asus's site and couldn't find anything. It is being used on a nForce2 MB (Epox) that has a 1. 5v only AGP slot. .

Hi, i am looking for a rockstable motherboard/cpu combo for 19 industrial case. It should be extendable to 1-2 GB RAM and ATA5 Harddisks. CPU speed needn't be top, 1. 7 - 2. 5 Ghz should be fine. RAID 1 onboard would be important.

At my work a user changed the bios language. I can flash the bios back in english. . no probs. Now I'm trying to find out who did it? Does anyone recogize this? One source I have is stating it's Japanese, but is unsure.

As I've been saying for a while - First generation SATA devices are not worth upgrading to. If you are building a new machine and the motherboard has SATA onboard then go for it as the SATA HD is not that much more expensive.

Since the SQL Slammer runs rampant on the net, I received so many request on those ports from unknown servers that I have never visited; I am in acknowledge of such because I haev blocked the captioned ports in my firewall, but request still comes in and stolen my bandwidth; seems no fix for these culprits?

Slow boot with Promise RAID TX2000

I have a RAID controller from Promise (TX2000). When I boot the system it says scanning IDE drives. . . . . . . This takes over 20 seconds before switching to the RAID controller and boot up. Is there a way to make the boot-up-process faster? In the BIOS I chose SCSI as first boot device.

Ok i added this stuff to my cpu and it was nice, cpu never went over 49C ever. Now all of a sudden my temps are up 5C with the same case fans etc and when i look i have no arctic silver on the cpu anymore :x , does it dry up or something because i aint keep pulling my comp apart every month to add the damn stuff.

I started my pc, & walked away from it. 'Bout 20 mins later, I returned to logon. Anyway, when I pressed ctrl-alt-del to logon to Win2K Pro, nothing happened. The logon prompt thingy just disappeared, & there was only the blue colour of the desktop screen (not BSOD).

Hi. I installed an older game, Baldur's Gate II, and I did not notice but I lost all my CD/DVD devices. For some reason, device manager has the ! on all my CD/DVD. It says something about corrupted drivers.
ISA audio card hangs boot process

I have a Crystal ISA audio card that I have tried in both ISA slots and it hangs the boot process. I believe I have used the card elsewhere and it worked, but I'm not sure. Do I assume it is bad? Computer boots fine without it.

I'm running Win 2000 w/sp3 installed on a VIA KT133 MB. I have looked at the FAQ's which didn't help. I have read the manual which only confused the issue more. There are the V31. 40 program/driver, the WDM capture driver V1.

Ok, I can't take it any more. . . . Almost every day I find myself answering all the BS problems with with ATI Radions. . . And, then it's not much better with Nvida and Gforce which may have better 3d drivers, but, can't give you a good 2d picture.

Can anybody tell me something about the procedures that happen during Audio- and DVD-Ripping? Is Ripping likely to damage a DVD-Drive or is the loss of three of my DVD-Drives in just 11 months purely accidental? What the f*** actually does DVDx 2.
Wireless Optical Blue mouse not working

Got one of these mice last weekend and installed it without any problems. Now it won't work: the cursor won't move as a move the mouse around. The red optical bit on the bottom is on and the green light on the base station is also on.

I have an older model Logitech Digital Extreme WingMan joystick. I bought it about 4 years ago when I was running Windows 98 on a Gateway. I now have a Dell that uses USB ports to connect my hardware.
