can any of u guys tell me if this is the best card around at the moment? and if there is anything coming along shortly to beat it. i need a new graphics card and i wanna get the best around. does the geforce 4 compare or not? also any probs with it under win2k ? thanks guys.

Well I bought the Gamesurround Fortissimo 7. 1 and let me say that the sound quality is excellent, and a marked improvement on the AWE64. Now I'm waiting on the Optical cable to connect to my h/theater system.

what is the most reliable harddrive?

i bought a hard drive about a year ago from tiger direct i think it was a seagate 60 gig it already has some bad sectors on it. but ive not had any real horrible problems with it yet ive decided to get another hard drive for more space and i probably wont get the same make as the one i have now for obvious reasons ...

Drivers install just fine. Have tried the latest and those that came on the CD. When attempting to run any resolution higher than 1024x768x256, I get artifact (ghosting of icons, any windows that are open) and occasionally screen tearing.

I´ve recently installed Windows 2000 on my PC but I can´t find the drivers for my Diamond Speedstar A50 AGP. I need this as soon as posible and I can´t seem to find them anywhere. Anybody????.

hey i get to start a new question thread. . . friend has hp pavilion laptop /w xp home. he gets an error message when he logs on now that says security policy does not allow this person to log on interactively ooops i am unfamilier with xphome so im not sure how it happened.

No video driver tweaking in .Net 2003?

I am running. Net 2003 Ent Server RC2 & just downloaded/installed Nvidia's 41. 09 drivers. In the Advanced > Adapter subsections of Windows Display Properties, there is no provision to adjust the OpenGl/D3D settings that I'm used to seeing.

After I load the Asus Live V4. 6b driver for the video capture feature it disables the VGA video driver. I get the message in Device Manager: This device cannot find enough resources that it can use.

Telling Win2k Pro to completely ignore a disk.

How can I tell Win2k (or more specifically, its on-boot filesystem checker), to ignore the existance of a hard-drive (the disk in question contains my Linux install, and scandisk stops to check it every boot, when I don't want it to even touch it).

Hi, I just bought an ATI TV Wonder VE and ATI Radeon 9500 Pro and when I tried to install the MMC software, it would give me an error when it tries to detect my software/hardware capability test for TV tuner.

Compact Flash Memory Cards... how to recover one?

Can you format it with the camera? I read an article somewhere that said you generally get the best performance out of the memory cards when they are formatted in the device they are going to be used in, rather than formatting them in a card reader.
