USB 3com Homeconnect webcam installation failure- Not recognized

USB 3com Homeconnect webcam installation failure- Not recognized by the system. I am using an Asus p4p800 deluxe with 865 chipset and XP. The USB is enabled in the BIOS. USB2 also. Note: The webcam is working and recognized in an older PC pentium 3 with XP.

Hardware Failure whilst installing Windows 2000

Turning on my PC last week, Windows failed to start. After Detecting IDE drives and just before 'windows is starting' message the screen goes black. I discovered that by removing my soundcard (Audigy Platinum)windows started as normal.

agp not running at maximum

can anyone help me get my geforce fx 5200 card running faster? because its running at agp 1X and i cant seem to get it any higher in the bios, and i have the latest drivers, i am useing a 71-xe motherboard, can anyone please help me turn the 1x faster to at least a 2x?

ok. . . i had to reinstall 2454 again but i lost the hacks to bypass activation. I tried to get them from ETPlanet but their site has been down for quite some time. Does anyone know of another place that i can get the activation bypass?.

why does my computer freeze up when I use either one of my dvd drives (

I have a problem with my computer every time I try to use my dvd drives. I have a NEC dvd drive and a Sony dvd/cd/rw drive. 99% of the time when I try to put in a cd or dvd the computer freeze up and I have to turn off the computer and re-boot with the cd or dvd in the drives.

I was just browsing the web when suddenly the display went all screwed up and the comp froze. So i turned off the computer and tried to restart but when i did this the computer would start but the monitor would not turn on.

CD/RW problems: All discs are empty :(

Hello there, My CD/RW aways claims that it has an empty medium inserted. No matter if there is or is not a disc in. I can boot WindowsXP instalation from this CD/RW - so it is not broken. It 'stopps' working when WindowsXP are loaded.

hi, i have a cambridge soundworks with 1 sub and 2 sat's. It's great but i have a promble with it. I have the volume controler and it does work without using the volume control on the taskbar. next to the time.

Help with reinstall of HP CD Writer 9300

This may seem like a DUMB question, but since there really is no such thing, I will take my chances. Need to reinstall CD Writer 9300 driver running on Win 2000 pro. Deleted a bunch of files and tried to remove CD Writer, but could not due to missing file.

Ok the situation is this. I have a Celeron 2. 4, with one gig of PC2100, 9800 Pro 128 meg 8x, and can not seem to get good gaming frame rates at all. In Half-Life I get 30fps and can not understand my problem.

Anyone get this to work? I can get it working using the Windows scanning wizard, but GOD that sucks. BTW it is connected via the SCSI interface, not that it should make a difference. I have a multiboot setup and it works fine in 2000, 2000 Server, and XP.

Hey I have a Barton 2500 @ 3200+, Gigabyte Ga7n400-L Motherboard, 2 x 120 gig seagates (both 7200 rpm, 8 meg cache). When copying from the slave to the primary, my system has 100% cpu usage, and the transfer is extremely slow.
