Alright, it's easy enough to set up Routing and Remote Access using NAT in Windows 2000 Server. I need to do it for an NT 4. 0 Server that I have. I know it can be done. . . but instead of me fooling around with it for hours to figure it out, I thought I'd plop the question on here to get a quicker answer.
2 PCS (W2K), LAN, CABLE MODEM, FIREWALL PROBLEM.

My problem is that I've got two machines, both W2K, connected via a hub. A Router (RT311) shares a Cable modem to the two pcs (via the hub of course). I was advised to purchase a software firewall (even though I have the router - by the router makers) and purchased ZoneAlarm Pro.
2 w2k pcs in lan, do they both need netbeui ??

mapping network drives for services to use

I'm using win2k server and warFTPd, and I'm need to map a network drive for warFTPd to use. The problem I'm having with this is when I log off my administrator account, it disconnects the drive. warFTPd is a service and I choose to keep the server logged off for security reasons.

I have two computer with ICS enabled on Win2k Pro(1st computer). Everything works fine on both computer. But MSN or Netmeeting doesn't work well on the client computer. Internet works but when somebody calls on netmeeting or msn messnger, it doens't work.

Hello! We are a few guys running win2k on our school-network, which is running NT4. 0! The problem is that we can't connect to the domain-server, allowing us to use only browsers. . but not IRC, ICQ and so on! Every time we try to connect to the internet we get a window where we have to give our Username and pass.

The modem in question is the SurfBoard 3100 - Splitting the coaxial cable should be easy enough - and by adding an extra network card it should be possible to connect both modems to the PC - but ...

i have a PC with win2000 pro with a proxy software running (sambar). the tcp/ip protocoll is when the server is online for a few hours completly crashed. win2k doesn't now any IP adresses in the lan anymore.

i need a walkthru on setting up TCP/IP on a small LAN. i run a dual boot ME/NT4. 0 machine on a small (5 port(3 mach. ) hub with cable connected to the uplink. i can see other machines in the 'hood (NetBeui) but I can't figure out how to properly setup the TCP/IP stack (in NT only ME fine!).

Im using two network cards in one Computer. One card is a 10mb combo which is connected to one other machine using a BNC cable. The other card is connected to a 100mb switch which has a further 3 machines on it.
