Assining Real IP's to Network Clients

Hey everybody, Ive got a NT4. 0 server box with 2 NICs, one internal 192. 168. 10. * sub 255. 255. 255. 0 one external DSL line NIC xxx. xxx. 248. 82 sub 255. 255. 255. 240. I need to assign a few of the internal clients real (and static) IP addresses so that they can be accessed through VPN.

Win2K and Win98 not Talking Nice

Ok here we go, 4 pc's 2 Win2k and 2 Win98. . . Browsing the network all pcs are seen on all pcs. Win2k pcs can access all pcs on the network. Both win98 pc can access one of the win2k pcs but when trying to open other win2k pc gets the following error.

IPX based games under Advanced Server

I can't get IPX based games like Starcraft or Tibrian Sun to work on Win2k Advanced Server. On the same PC with Win2k Professionel it ran fine, but now with W2k AS I can't see a started game and when I start a game the others ( 1 Win98 and 1 Win2k Pro) can't connect.

Win2k machine cant access Win98 machine!

i'm runnin Win2k Pro on one machine and Win98SE on the other using tcp/ip protocol. When i see my Win 98SE machine in My Network Places, double click on it to bring up the spare drive i have in it shared full access, it gives me that Computer is inaccessible message.

Multiple domains

I have w2k installed on my notebook. I'd like to connect to 2 different LANs with 2 different domains, of course. However, when I join one of the domains, the other one disappears from the dropdown menu at startup, and I have to go through all the fuss with adding a new domain.

Hi guys! I have just subscribed to ADSL service with my telco op and isp. The connection works great in Win98 after a very quick and simple set-up (just create a new connection after installing VPN service).

W2000 Pro Networking

I have 2 PCs at my home. I used a pair of Point-to-point cable to connect them with ACER ALN320 NICs. Previously, both of them ran with W98Se. Now I installed W2000 Pro on one of the machine. I could activate my network in my W2000 but it could not recognize my W98 PC.

The DHCP client in Windows 2000 seems to be not working properly. I have both Windows 98 and Windows 2000 installed on the same machine, but Windows 2000 simply refuses to grab the IP address from my ISP.
