Customise display for connection properties?

Ekstreme
Hiya On of one my machines, the connection properties for my LAN shows activity in Bytes (Netgear NIC), while on another machine, it shows activity in packets (Intel NIC). Is there any way to change this on either of them? I'd honestly prefer to see bytes rather than packets.

WinXP Firewall and Networking Question

Jedi Master
I have a small home network with two computers connected to a DSL router (built in hardware firewall). Recently, it seems a couple of malicious web pages or e-mails caused problems on one system(my wife downloads a lot of embroidery patterns and gets a lot of e-mails from user groups).

I am preparing a project of reimaging 600 laptops used by our mobile sales force. Typically, we save off their data to a server, reghost them from another, and pull their data back from the original server.
