I have a server that runs. NET server RC1 and NAT setup on it. My client machines can connect to internet fine and browse websites but I can't connect to and ftp server via an ftp client. How do I enable this feature? On my Win2k server it all worked fine after installing DHCP and NAT but not on.

I have installed. NET server RC1 on my gateway. When I setup NAT on it it asked me if I wanted to use the built in firewall. Is this firewall any good? Or should I install a third party firewall like Norton Personal Firewall.

Hi I am getting frustrated with XP, I have been using xp for ages now and just cannot get past the problem I keep getting. . . Unlike windows 2000 it was very easy for networking and didnt have the problems I am having in windows xp.

Which 3rd party software can I under windows 2000 to change the static ip of a system on the fly easily. I have two ip addresses I need to use, but its slightly tedious to enter different gateways, sub net masks everytime I need to switch network.

I was wondering if it is possible to share a cd-rom drive over a network and make the computers that it is shared to see it as a true cd-rom drive. I know that you can map to the cd-rom so that it has a specified drive letter but then it is just seen as a normal networked drive.
There must be a way!

Hi, why the computernames are visible in network browser even the user is logout from the server or shutdown his computer. My server is windows 2000. Because of this some user face difficulty to loging again on the server.
