Not really a XP problem but need help anyways

ok I just created a photo album with easy cd-creator 5 and burn it to CD, now when i run the cd and play the album no matter how many seconds I tell it to put between pictures the all fly past very fast.

I'm looking for a good mail client. I'd like it to be able to do following things: 1) keep my mails from different pop3 addresses seperate (not like craplook express) 2) It should have a built-in possibility to backup e-mails easily Is there any program like that out there? Thanks.

Problem with Explorer and internet explorer

Win 2000: When i open up internet explorer or windows explorer, it loads the information, but pauses, then allows me to open the next webpage or folder. When i open a folder or webpage, the process repeats.

I'm trying to use remote desktop from a laptop to my home computer, but the home computer uses norton personal firewall 2002. . . if its disabled, the connection goes through, but when its on, it fails.

When I tried to log on to my online-bank after upgrading to XP, I was rejected because the bank though that my browser has not been tested yet. My question: Is there any way of making IE6 identify itself as IE5.

Has anyone succeded to do a webcam conversation with messenger? I tried with some friends of mine and the webcam conversation only works with net-meeting. No success at all with messenger. No sound, nothing.

Help IRC isn't working under XP

I can't connect to any IRC server at all. When connecting it just sits there and sits there and then finally after about 5 minutes I get a time out error. This is from a fresh install of XP. Does anyone have a fix? or might have and idea how to fix?.

After upgrading from Windows 2000 SP2 to XP build 2600 I've found I cannot login under Administrator (the option simply isnt there!). I did however have a backup account (Sam) with Admin rights, so I can login under that.

Win2k + WinXP Dual Boot with a twist......

Right here we go. . . . . I have installed WinXP onto my computer and am happy with the setup as is. HOWEVER I want to play games and as my Voodoo5 is not happy under XP but most definately works in 2k I have decided to reinstall 2k.

Hi Guys, I have very annoying problem in Windows XP with IE The main IE windows open up maximized as I have set the shorctu properties to maximize. Now, when I right click a link to open in new window, the new windows opens up small.

Hey guys, just wondering, but does JUST the cdkey determine what version of windows XP pro/homeyou have? for example, if you type in another cdkey for the installation does it make it a corporated edition? I know that pro and home versions are different - i'm just wondering about regular/corporate.

Saving Files in IE6

Does anyone know how to save files in IE6? For example, if there's a link to an mp3 on a page, when I left click on it, I'm given the choice to play it in IE6 or in Winamp and that's it. The file'll play but the only way I can save it is for me to manually go to the IE temp file cache and copy it out of there.
