having trouble installing speedisk from norton utilities 2002. i've tried using the nu installer or running the setup program directly from the sdnt directory. the installshield progress bar pops up, goes to 100% then disappears, then nothing happens.

I've had absolutely no problems with any version of SystemWorks on any platform. 2002 is running sweet as a nut on my XP system. It can take a while to figure out where some of the settings are as it's quite different to 2001.

I am thinking of taking advantage of the increased speed of a software raid array, with the help of converting to dynamic disks (through Computer Management/Disk Management in Administration Tools). My 2 hdds run at udma4 under winXP pro, the first one is a Maxtor 30Gb and the second one is a Quantum AS 40Gb.

After re-installing WinXP and OfficeXP, all Office apps have the Recently Used Files option greyed out. Office Toys' Tweak Ui is uninstalled. Any ideas please?.

DVD Decoder Software - XP

Having upgraded to XP and solved other problems the one remaining problem is my DVD player no longer works. Every now and then XP tells me I have to upgrade the software decoder, problem is its recommendation is the same outfit my original decoder came from and they charge $40 for the upgrade.

Hi all! i uninstalled pgp 7 (freeware edition) to get my system working again - but it didnt. in the app-compat list it says to get the greyed-out uninstall button of the tcp/ip working and reinstall that.

2 days ago I was left unable to sign on to AOL over my cable modem and get the message The connection to the host was lost. At first I thought it was an AOL issue but I have found that I am no longer able to ping anyone from my computer and get an Error Code 65 when I try to do so.
