What's the best popup killer?

I'm using meaya popupadkiller right now but it seems to let some popups come through. Is there any popup that kills 'em all? And if possible one where i can make an exception list? Thanks.

ACPI problems

Made a comp out of the following parts, AOpen MK33 kt133 motherboard, Duron 1000, geforce 2mx, 256 ram, quantum HD, pine modem. I have used the latest BIOS available for this motherboard, tried different sticks of memory, no good.

OE crash

Outlook Express crashes each time I try to attach a file. . . No error message, no BSOD, nothing ! The install is recent 3 weeks at large, and clean. Latest driver for my video and for the SBLive card.

Convert To NTFS question

I have a C & D hard drive (2 seperate hard drivers) & the c drive is NTFS but D is FAT 32 i want to convert D to NTFS but when i use the commad convert D: /fs:ntfs it gives me an error saying Convert Is not Available for RAW drives.

Error Reporting = Annoying

How do I disable that fu*cking error reporting? Everytime I boot into Winblows eXtraPiss it says my system has recovered from a serious problem. As you can tell i'm a little frustrated. .

Ghost 2002 / Plextor 1210A / Error

When ever I trying making a ghost image, to my cdr, it gets towards the end, and I get an error 11, saying that it can't close the cd. Anyone run into this? I tried 1. 08 and 1. 09 firmware from Plextor, still the same issues.

My Music Icon Question

i accidently deleted the entire directoy of My Music (that was before i put my music in there) but now i notied that i must have deleted the desktop. ini so i lost the special My Documents Icon with the Music note.

1.4 GHz and very irresponsive

Hi Guys I have an AMD 1. 4 GHz w/ ECS K7S5A. I have Windows XP. It doesn't response very fast. Consider it would take 5-10 secs to open in My Computer or Control Panel. I looked into it and found this out.

Hello there! How can I start some proggy (ISDN Monitor) when my computers starts? I need to start it before anyone logs in. . . I found this useful function in Sheduled Tasks that task can start when my computer starts (At system startup).

Windows Installer and XP Pro

I cant get Windows Installer to work properly on my XP pro system. Everytime i try to install a program that uses Windows Installer, IT says could not access Windows Installer Service. This may be caused by running in safe mode, or if Windows Installer is incorrectly installed.

Infected by a VIRUS...

Hello! I am runing Norton Antivirus 2002 on Windows XP and I had Disabled Auto Protect feature. So I get infected by a W32. Wierd(gen1) Virus. I tried to turn autoprotect ON, but it just generated some errors, so I reinstalled NAV2002.

Sorry, Should have got back sooner. I managed to locate the proper software for the device (external hard drive housing, connected to standard parallel port. ) I did find, however, that certain hard drives don't work very well with it.

DOS application [DPMI Modules]

Is there anyway to run Borland DPMI modules inside Win32? Is there a way to convert a Borland DPMI module into a standard DOS module, etc? I am not familiar with Borland C or whatever Borland language compiled programs.

Hello! Today I recived this error in my Dial-up properties window. Sice my restore points feature is not enabled, I really have no idea what to do. My system somehow works perfectly, so I am really not about to do a fresh install again.
