IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL errors, pls help

I get BSOD stop error messages in WinXP Pro that state IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and show this: 0X0000000A (0X00000004, 0X00000002, 0X00000000, 0X804F1A9E) Someone help me make sense of this so i can fix my problems whatever they may be.

Hi, I recently upgraded to WinXP Pro from Win2k Pro. Now suddenly Acrobat and Photoshp stopped to work. While starting up Photoshop pops up the following error message: Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error.

Powerstrip and black screen

Hello, I just installed Powerstrip program last week and I didn't like it so I uninstalled it. The problem now is that everytime after I log-in, my monitor goes blank for 1 second and then it comes back on.

Need to uninstall linux w/out effecting XP.

Right now I have a dual boot system with XP and linux. I have found out that linux is not the thing for me and now I want to get rid of it. The only problem is that when I erase the partition it is on my boot for XP is gone and it does nothing when I turn on the computer.

when i single click on a video clip in the C:\ drive, a little preview comes up in the bottom left of the main folder. Is there a way to disable that feature? Im running Win2k professional btw. Thanx.

Just out of curiosity, how come it say that I last used aol on 11/13/01 in the add/remove programs thing when I use it constantly? It says that I use it frequently, but the date's wrong. I'm probably just not understanding something.

Hello Clutch and the gang. . . We are having a problem accessing 2 seperate FTP sites on our server. The server has 2 IP's: 192. 168. 0. 10 and 192. 168. 0. 30. The main FTP site is where any user can copy and paste into, or download from.

CDROM and CDRW Drives not working

I have read through this forum several times to find a solution to my problem, sadly without success. I have recently put a fresh install of Win2k on my machine in place of a stable Win98SE. Previously both CD drives worked as expected.

Uninstalled linux, now I cant get into XP

OK I had a dual boot with linux mandrake and XP going for a couple of days. I erased linux and its partitions and now I cant get into xp. I can onlt get as far as right after my system checks to see if it should boot from the floppy and cd.

O. K. Silly question, but. . . When I set up WinXP, and added the additional programs, I unselected MSN Explorer. As far as I can tell, it's just a cutesy front end for Hotmail and MSN's web site. Is there any advantage to installing it?.

IIS/Windows Media Encoder question

I dont know if the problem is with IIS or with my remote software for Windows Media Encoder. Anyway when i connect to my computer to try and start the encoder whenever one of the ASP pages load up i get an object not found box then nothing works right.

Tiny Personal Firewall problem

i have version 2. 0. 15A of the program. the problem is that whenever i try to open it, there comes the error message Unable to connect to PersfEngine! - error 0x8007274D - but it seems that the firewall is working, intercepting connections and asking whether to block a program etc.

My custom fonts are not seen by others :(

If I add custom fonts to a simple web page I create using FronPage 2000 (or even Word 2000), how do I get other people to see the fonts when I post it on the 'Net? If I view the page from one of my other machines, none of my custom fonts appear.

Anyone familiar w/ NOD32 AV software?

Have had it with Norton AV2000. Tired of partial scans, then a crash. Not too interested in 2002 based upon bad reviews and reports of the program being a system hog. Found some fairly glowing, hell, outstanding reviews on NOD32 out of Australia.
