Can anyone tell me how to setup and successfully configure win2k client machines to share the internet connection with the server. I have win2k server setup with the dhcp server running. The server has an ip address of 192.

Where is the Send To folder? plus other questions

Hi All, The Win2k help tells me to open up the sendto folder to put a program there; however, it won't show up and won't let me create and name one. Anyone know how to get to the sendto folder? Also How do I setup a win98 style system monitor to show cpu usage, memory etc? Thanks.

Creative Launcher is evil! help needed

Upon finally getting creative launcher installed, when i run it, it make my sound all buggy, basically ive decided to scrap the SBLIVE LiveWare until good drivers come out. BUT I cant uninstall it because when i get to the uninstall screen and try to remove the program, it just freezes.

I have never used diskeeper, but may do so depending on the responses I get on this thread. From what I know about Diskeeper, it defrags and a couple other small things. Well, if this is true, why use it? I can defrag my disks just fine (I think) using the build in defragmenting utility in Win2k.

Power User get default settings after restart

Hello! I have problems with the Power User group. After every restart (not just after log off-login) the Power Users settnings are defaulted, just like after installation. The administrator on the comupter don´t have the same problem.

Uninstall win2k back to 98?

Is there any way to uninstall win2k without totally reformatting to keep windows settings like they were in 98 when you upgraded to 2000? Or do you have to totally reformat? If so, how do you reformat because there is no dos?

Is there a prog like Clean Sweep that works under Win2K. I tried to install Clean Sweep 2000(ie 4. 7) and it can't-also I found at the main page and Symantec site that it doesn't work. Suggestions ane1?.

Any good k6-2 tweakers out there for win2k. I dont think my chip has write allocate by default and it doesnt state in the bios. award bios 4. 51pg tekram via mvp3 board k6-450 voodoo3.

OK i have this really annoying problem with windows 2000. Everytime my desktop refreshes, the icons get into ABC order!!! I want my icons to be in a certain order and stay there, not have to worry about having to line up the icons or manually arranging them.

I have removed the My Documents folder from the desktop, but now I want to put it back, and can´t seem to do it. I have tried with TweakUI but it does not help. All my other users on the computer have the Icon and can modify it, but not I.
