Hi ! I have encounter a recent problem on my win2k : when i try to access an animation, on the left part of the window, i have the preview, but now i got an error message : this version testing date is expired.

huge problem with wmp7

I have wmp7 installed on my system, just today I wanted to rip some music from a cd, and convert it to mp3 format. I was using AudioCatalyst to convert my music, but it dosen't detect a cd rom drive, WMP7 does detect a drive.

Need Advices: Event ID (1001) in Source (SQLCTR70)

Hi There, I keep getting the following error inside the application log after the reboot. The same error had occured on both W2KPro and NT4 Server. Any Idea? Here is the log: The description for Event ID ( 1001 ) in Source ( SQLCTR70 ) cannot be found.

Installed SP1 for Win2000 and cd rw dont work now?

i use adaptec eazy cd creator deluxe 4. 02 i noticed there was a update for windows 2000 i installed it system rebooted and now my cd rw icon has a x going through it and it dosnt allow me to use my cd rw but i can still play cd's off it just cant write to them or rewrite???.

I like AOL 6. 0 beta (Sign on aol, keyword BETA to get it) However, be prepared, it does somewhat take over your computer DOwnload regcleaner to clean out some of the AOL Autostart, and AUtoAIM files, and always go to keyword preferences And make sure everything is set to your needs Anyone else using it?.

Winblinds has knackered me win 2000

Okay can anyone help installed winblinds to try it did not like it uninstalled it now my icons seem to go white not all of them but a few sometimes. Also when i click on properties on the desktop it takes ages to come up this must be something to do with winblinds and active desktop anyone got any ideas??? cheerds ras.

MPEG-1 Files run like crap

Whenever I try to play MPEG-1 videos, my system plays them very horribly. . . the video is jerky, and the sound is very slow (voices sound really deep, and cant understand anything). Is there anything I can do to fix it??.

Web Cam drivers problem

Hi, Got an Omnivsion Web Cam. I have downloaded the latest drivers for Win2k off there web site, and run the setup program and inturn it loads all the. inf files, twain etc into there right directory.

EZ CD creator cant load engine.

I've searched for other threads, but no one seemed to have my problem. My problem is that when I try to run EZCD Creator 4. 02c, it says that it can't load Engine. I installed 4. 0 first then 4. 02c then rebooted.

Cubase 5 + Win2000

Has anyone had success in running cubase 5 under Windows 2000? Its supposed to be supported but when I run it I get a very strange kernel32. dll error. Could be a SMP thing, or liveware3, who knows.

VNC - unexpected reboots!

Whenever i start the viewer VNC my computer reboots within about a minute of using VNC. this is very disconcerting. . . any suggestions on how to stop the reboots? (i have all the win2k updates).
