Easy Cd Creator 5 ERROR!!!! Need your brainpower!

Greetings, Ok here we go. Installed ESCD 5 in Win98SE. Popped in a blank disk and formatted it using Direct CD 5 for drag and drop operation. Dragged my backup directory to the burner and it copied the folder to the drive.

Installed this onto my w2k system, as it was published on the NT compatible news front page. Doesn't seem to work, all I get is a icon on my taskbar which has a exclamation mark through it. Nothing is accessible through that icon aside from version number, which is garbled anyway.

formating CD-RW's with DirectCD

K, was wondering if anybody experienced this problem. I have formatted some blank cd-rw's on my laptop using Direct CD and it works fine and is readable on standard cd-rom drives. However, on another machine using the same program, I can format and read/write on the burner, but cannot access the cd on any other dri ...

Okay, I have PowerDVD 2. 5 upgraded to version 2. 55, which is said to run under Win2k. Well, Im sure it would, but I get this error code: 80070032 Network request is not supported. WTF!!!!!!!! I'll list my specs below, but it has done this when I wasnt overclocking too.

Help needed with NTVDM.EXE

Sometimes right after booting my machine, sometimes after starting some applications my system starts to become slower and slower. A look at the Windows Task Manager showed a program called NTVDM. EXE eating 95-99% of CPU power.

Windows 2000 and application compatibility

I am inerested in finding out about certain software types that are and are not compatible with Windows 2000. These include: Win2NCS and ContactWise. The more complete the list the better. Any help would be gretaly appreciated.

Why doesn't Winnt4 come with a defrag Utility

Is Winnt4 meant to have a default defrag utility? It seems everywhere on the net i search there is a third party program called disk keeper that needs t be bought. Why doesn't the OS come with all neccessary system tools? I have installed Original WinNT (no service packs) And i have applied sp6.

Problems with IE5.01 Sp2 and Terminal Services

I think there is a bug in teh installer for IE 5. 01 SP2. I run Win 2k Server w/ Terminal Serv in remote admin mode. However, I cannot install Sp2 as it requires me to set the somputer for install mode, which is not available in remote admin mode.

Hi, this is my first post to the board. Help! I installing Windows2000 Pro and then for some reason my hdd crashed completeley and if it is connecting to the computer and is set to be recognised by the BIOS it stalls the pc on boot.

Office 2000 pirated version solution.

I came across a registry hack that, while combined with a certain crack fixes the problem people have with Office 2000 and their service pack. The solution is too long to mention here but if anyone is interested, it's relatively easy to follow, simply consisiting of one 'hack' and applying the aforementioned crack.
