Ok, somewhat solved my Nero problem, but now its WNASPI32.DL

Ok, I sort of fixed my buffer under-runs in Nero. But I am having a strange problem with NERO and my CD ROM drives. If I use the 4. 60 version of wnaspi32. dll (44K) that was already on my system, the CD ROMs will work, but Nero won't, nor will the new Nero CD Speed tool which gives a wnaspi32.

I haven't been much for Napster in its use, but now that the napster alternatives are out, I've become addicted to Morpheus. I'd tried one of the Guntella programs, Bear Share, but I couldn't d/l anything.

Hello. Apon rebooting my computer this morning I found I have a missing C:\program file. . . . or one of its libraries. . thats all it says Everything seems to work fine. . all I did was delaet some usless software that I downloaded from the internet.

Anyone else having under-runs in the newer 5.5.2.4 Nero?

I was able to burn some CD's with no problems a few weeks ago with one of the older versions of Nero, but tonight I tried to burn some with the newer 5. 5. 2. 4 and I made 2 coasters because of under-runs! My source drive is a Plextor UltraPlex 32, and my CDR is a Plextor PleXWriter 12/4/32 - both not cheap peices ...

Hi all. I'll get straight to it. I have an error on my hdd that Windows 2k can not seem to repair. The error appears to be one particular file that I can not delete for some reason. I am using the NTFS file system on this drive.

Anyone knows anything about the 1006. 003 file for the Asus P3V4X mobo? Should it be renamed to 1006. bin ? Or should it be used as is with aflash. exe ? This is my very first Asus mobo (my two first ones were excellent DFI which i knew how to flash).

I guess you can live w/ it for only so long. . . I've finally gotten utterly sick of the advertisements that bombard me on the web. That being said, can anyone recommend a good freeware ad blocker program to run on Win2k w/ IE? I'd love to finally get rid of those darn things that I never click on anyway.

Shutdown/Restart Problem.......SiSoft BSOD Help!

I have a couple probems that I am looking for help with. First is that my machine does not shutdown or restart properly. Basically Win2K performs the task to close out and then after doing so hangs at a blank screen.

The STOP message is KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT HANDLED. I do have an OC'd system, but it does it regardless the speed, and everything else runs fine. I have an MSI 694D Pro-AR and am using the Promise FastTrack ATA100 PCD 20265 on-board controller with the latest BIOS from MSI.

A few questions if I may

I'm running NT 4. 0 SP 6A. I have the ASUS P3BF Motherboard. I was told that my USB port is not recognized by NT. Is this true? I was also told that my AGP slot is not recognised by NT. Is this true? If the answer is true to the questions above, is there a way to get NT to recognize them.
