Hi Guys, I have program and its code in Visual C to extract Winace 2. x compression files. Is there a way to convert that into graphical form in VB. Or I have to write stuff again. ARC.

W2k forgets window settings?

For some reason, W2k randomly forgets its folder settings and reverts all the icons to large (instead of my preferred list). Win98 did the same thing before I upgraded, and I thought that took care of it.

DynaDNS... Other DNS progs? Work???

My server uses an dynamic ip. There is nothing I can do about it because we do not have the money right now to upgrade to static ip. My domain name is hosted on register. com's DNS servers. As far as I know the only way to update their DNS servers of my new ip is through their website in a browser.

he is just using up valuable space, and he's ugly too. I used to have my windows like this (long), but now the search dialogue is not immediately available. I have to sroll a lot, then choose what to search for, then discover I cant type anything and then resizing the window.

BSOD when watching mvovie

I get BSOD when watching movie with windows media player in winXP, in all the builds I can remember I have tried. Even now with the 2486, I have this hardware setup. It works well playing MP3, midi or wav, just not any movies.

Looking for Winaspi32.zip for WinXP

I had a zip of this thing that I got from here before and it rocked! It contained the much needed Adaptec aspi files and a method to install them without any of their stinking products. My computer died a week ago and I also lost my C: drive where the zip was sitting on.

my norton 7. 0 for w2k dosen work, installs fine but will not turn on autoprotect. Did anyone solve the problem, did try to run it in compatibility mode, a no go by the way. Anyone????.

Anybody printing from 98 to 2000? Trouble adding drivers for

MACDIVER

When I click on Additional Drivers in the printer properties to add Windows 98 drivers it asks for 2000 Server CD. I am running the Pro version. I am using a Lexmark 3200 Colorfine which is listed there.

W2k f-ed up start menu?

When I try to drag folders around on the start menu, I get a cannot move XXXX, the source folder is the same as the destination folder. Is there a way to fix this? I log on as the administrator if that's any help.
