Notes and known issues:
- Sorry, release notes are not available for this release.
- This is a Windows 2000 certified driver for the Millennium G400 only. Drivers for the Millennium G400 MAX are not yet available.

Update: Edward (Thanks) send me the follow:
As an update to your G400 story - the drivers DO work with the MAX and i
havn´t spoted any lack of functionality (i have 2 monitors as well)

I was having some trouble with my G400MAX on a BP6 with 2x400 celerons so i
installed the new drivers despite the warnings and they work great on my
MAX. I am using Soldier of Fortune as a basis for my claims since before it
crashed my entire system after a few seconds and now it runs fine :):

Regards,
Edward

Sagi send me the follow regarding the new beta voodoo banshee drivers:

In the banshee.inf file the memory clock setting is set to 110 Mhz by
default. This setting can cause desktop lockup problems. I have found that
changing this setting to 100 instead of 110 fixes the lockup problem.

here is the section from the inf file

OLD INF section

[banshee_SoftwareDeviceSettings]
HKR,, InstalledDisplayDrivers, %REG_MULTI_SZ%, banshee
HKR,, VgaCompatible, %REG_DWORD%, 0
HKR,, UseNonBIOSModeSet, %REG_DWORD%, 1
HKR,, memclocking, %REG_DWORD%, 110

NEW inf section

[banshee_SoftwareDeviceSettings]
HKR,, InstalledDisplayDrivers, %REG_MULTI_SZ%, banshee
HKR,, VgaCompatible, %REG_DWORD%, 0
HKR,, UseNonBIOSModeSet, %REG_DWORD%, 1
HKR,, memclocking, %REG_DWORD%, 100

This one change can fix the desktop lockup problem.

Windows 2000 WINS Issues

WINS export memory leak. If you export a large WINS database, the WINS export process leaks memory at the rate of roughly 1MB per minute. If your WINS database is large enough, the export can leak all available memory. According to Microsoft Support Online article Q254387, a WINS snap-in that assists in the export doesn't clear the internal memory cache. Call Microsoft Support for an updated version of winssnap.dll that eliminates the memory leak.
