ViaHardware posted an article on Overclocking the Celeron on the Intel BX, Intel i815 and the VIA Apollo Pro A. Read on to find out how the Celeron performs at default speed as well as at 100mhz FSB. Here is a snip:

Until recently, Celeron overclockers really only had one choice for a chipset to overclock: the Intel BX. To overclock the Celeron, one needs a chipset capable of a Front Side Bus greater then 66. For a while the Intel BX chipset was the only answer. The VIA Apollo Pro chipset was later released, but the chipset was plagued with performance problems and was not a fan of overclockers. Today we have the Intel BX, Intel i815, and the VIA Apollo Pro A chipsets. All of these chipset are capable of overclocking a S370 Celeron, depending on board manufacturer. So which chipset is the best Celeron overclocker on the block?
