The change log includes updated designs for the "Open with" dialog, temporary disablement of the simplified system tray, and fixes for issues with hardware keyboard text suggestions, high-hitting ctfmon.exe crashes, and certain mice and keyboards not working in safe mode. These updates aim to address various issues.
Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.1252 (KB5038603) is now available for Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel, bringing new features and enhancements. The feature allows users to pin programs from the Start menu to the taskbar and drag-and-drop files across them using their mouse. Microsoft has released the KB5039304 (OS Build 26100.1000) Preview for Windows 11 24H2. This update resolves non-security vulnerabilities in Windows operating systems, including quality enhancements. It resolves issues with Windows Defender Application Control, DWM.exe, Country and Operator Settings Asset profiles, Unified Write Filter, and the Input Method Editor candidate list. The update includes updated mobile operator profiles, fixes access denied exceptions in WMI API calls, and corrects the Input Method Editor candidate list.
Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26244 is available for Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel, featuring some general improvements and fixes.
The update introduces a new Windows Backup feature that allows users to backup their sound settings, as well as a new Game Pass recommendation card on the Settings homepage.
