ALi’s Products Receive The “Designed for Windows XP” Logo Certification to High-quality Computing Products That Work Well With Microsoft Windows XP OS

TAIPEI, Taiwan, March 11, 2002 –Acer Laboratories Inc. (ALi), one of the world’s leading integrated circuit solutions providers today announced the receiving of the “Designed for Windows XP” logo >from Microsoft. This certification is given to identify hardware and software products that perform well with the Microsoft Windows XP operating system.



The “Designed for Windows XP” logo validates the unsurpassed quality of ALi’s R&D design to bring forth improved product and marketing advantages for ALi’s OEM clients.

Companies certified with this logo are entitled to endorse the “Designed for Windows XP” logo on their product packaging, websites and advertisements. In addition, certified companies are listed in the Windows catalog, a directory made available to users to locate Windows-compatible products. Certified companies are also invited to participate along Microsoft’s global conferences and product exhibitions. The result of receiving this logo is a yet another confirmation of ALi’s leading IC design capability and also an added marketing and sales advantage ultimately to benefit OEM clients worldwide.
