AMD Ryzen 7 3800X Review

The best 8C16T chip from AMD. But is it good enough? Back on the 7th July, AMD ushered in six Ryzen 3000-series CPUs touting the latest Zen 2 architecture and 7nm production.

We've since taken a look at the Ryzen 9 3900X, Ryzen 7 3700X and Ryzen 5 3600X, and all offer decent performance at their respective price points. That leaves three processors untested, with the range-topping Ryzen 9 3950X yet to come, so today we're casting our reviewing eye over the Ryzen 7 3800X.

ASRock X570 Extreme4 Motherboard Review

Today we will present one more ASRock motherboard based on the AMD X570 chipset and designed for the latest AMD Ryzen 3000 series processors. This time we will take a closer look at the X570 Extreme4. The Extreme4 motherboard series is popular because of its high performance at a reasonable price. I hope that the tested motherboard won’t be any different, and we will be able to recommend it to our readers.

To check what we think about the ASRock X570 Extreme4, you have to read this article. I hope it will be worth it as the motherboard presents really well. How it works will tell our tests.

ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming X Motherboard Review

Today we test on OCinside.de the ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming X motherboard. Already in our previous ASRock Z390 Taichi and ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 motherboard reviews we assumed that one cannot surpass the incredibly extensive motherboard equipment, but ASRock once again surpassed themselves and we are absolutely excited!

BladeX 15.6-inch 4K Portable Monitor Review

The BladeX Pro 4K portable monitor is the successor to the Gemini I reviewed earlier in the year, though under a different branding this time: Odake.
It has quite a lot in common with the previous model. Its again battery-powered, for truly mobile use. The display is still 15.6 inches, and you again get a choice of a 1080p touchscreen version and a 4K model without touchscreen capability. You still get both USB-C and HDMI input, though Mini DisplayPort has been dropped.
But this version has a sleeker design. Instead of the entire device being a half-inch thick, the display is now less than a fifth of an inch thick.

Corsair K57 RGB Wireless Review

Bolstering the gaming credentials of the K57 RGB is Corsair's proprietary wireless transmission technology, Slipstream. This provides sub-1ms response times via an included USB dongle. Bluetooth connectivity is also included to allow communication with things like your TV or a games console.

LaCie Mobile Drive Portable HDD Review

LaCie's Mobile Drive is the nicest-looking portable drive available. But unless you want to test drive the included free month of Adobe CC, there are better options.

MSI Trident A Review

The MSI Trident A, despite the big drop in asking price, still packs a hell of a punch with a 9th Gen. Intel Core i5 9400 processor, rocking 6 cores at up to 4.1GHz with a relatively small 65W TDP for, hopefully, quieter operation. Bolstering that performance is 16GB of DDR4 memory, a 256GB SSD and a 1TB HDD for larger storage requirements.

Mushkin Pilot-E NVMe M.2 SSD Review

The Mushkin Pilot-E is the other SM2262EN high-performance NVMe SSD. The company started talking about the drive when ADATA and HP displayed the SX8200 Pro and EX950. Those drives have been on the market for what seems like ages now so Mushkin is a little late to the party.

The Pilot-E is the flagship NVMe product from the company. It plays an upmarket role to the Helix-L we previously tested. Both drives use Silicon Motion, Inc. controllers. The Helix-L uses the SM2263XT DRAMless controller, and the Pilot-E uses the mighty SM2262EN, the successor to the successful SM2262 that took on Samsung for consumer NVMe dominance.

Phanteks Eclipse P400A Review

The Eclipse P400A takes the success of the original P400 and introduces a lick of RGB with cooling-specific attributes such as a ventilated mesh front panel and triple cooling fans. P400A's price point sees it enter a market which is fiercly competitive - does this case have what it takes to rise to the top?

Rapoo MT550 & 9300M Keyboard and Mouse Review

Wireless peripherals are pretty hot right now. There are a lot of cable cutters out there that just need more freedom in the office, at home, or even on their gaming setups. There’s no shortage of reasons, and Rapoo is well aware of this demand. Sure, the likes of Corsair, Logitech and a few others have some impressive hardware out there already. However, they often come with a fairly hefty price premium. So what can you get for a more wallet-friendly price? Well, that’s what I aim to find out today. I have both the wireless multi-mode Rapoo MT550 mouse, and the Rapoo 9300M keyboard and mouse bundle in for testing today.
