Best Android Phones: Q3 2019

It’s past the middle of the year now, and every Android vendor has had the opportunity to release their devices. It’s been a few months now since the flagship refresh cycle started and we’ve reviewed the ups and down of this generation, even giving vendors enough opportunity to refine their software and fix any issues that may have plagued the phones in the first few months. It’s this time of the year that’s also the best time to actually dive into getting a new phone – the new generation has already gotten sizeable price reductions, but the phones are still new enough that one wouldn’t suffer any buyer’s remorse in getting in on the bandwagon, with still plenty of time left in the product cycle.

COLORFUL iGame GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Vulcan X OC-V Review

I've been a fan of COLORFUL for many years now and have been nurturing that relationship with the company for many years, having a few exclusives here and there with their iGame graphics cards. I have been working tirelessly with them for months to get samples into my hands here at TweakTown for the RTX 20 series cards so here we are -- the world exclusive review on the COLORFUL iGame GeForce RTX 2080 Vulcan X OC-V, one of the best custom RTX SUPER graphics cards on the market.

COLORFUL is a Chinese company that makes all sorts of products, but their iGame line of custom GeForce GTX and RTX series graphics cards are in a league of their own. The design of the cards is striking but not over-the-top, while the best parts of the card include one of the best-looking custom coolers and even an LCD display.

Corsair iCUE 465X Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Corsair has been making cases for quite a long time now, even if they did set their roots in PC memory. But, Corsairs legacy has become far vaster than simply DRAM over the years. Today we have in the lab, the second of the new iCUE series of ˜smart cases' as dubbed by Corsair. The term smart case has always been a bit ambiguous to me, as a smart case in the sense of the iCUE, means to include the Lighting Node CORE which controls only lighting for the six connected ports.

Now in comparison, NZXT has their HXXXi series of smart cases which has a CAM powered smart controller that integrates a fan controller and RGB control into a single package. The CAM unit also has a noise sensor, which means it can do a real-time assessment of chassis noise. It can also possibly tune fan curves for audibility along with monitoring CPU and internal temps to ensure the system stays cool.

MSI GT76 Titan DT 9SG Laptop Review

MSI has crammed a 9900K into this laptop, and they say it can run at 5GHz on all cores. We got our first look at the MSI GT76 Titan back in May, just before Computex. We then followed up than initial hands-on with a sit-down preview of the system last month, and now we can present our full review of this machine. It is a total beast in every sense of the word, weighing over 4kgs (plus two 330W power bricks) and packing a desktop i9-9900K processor which MSI claims can overclock to 5GHz on all cores. When you factor in the gargantuan £4499 asking price, it is clear this machine is not for the faint of heart.

Orico NVMe M.2 Enclosure Round-Up Review

Whether you want to utilise an old drive that’s no longer in use of build a whole new portable storage drive, the latest M.2 SSD housings from Orico might be something for you. Today I have two of the latest ones in the office for a closer look. First, there is the beautiful PCM2-C3 which features a full aluminium alloy chassis while the other is the TCM2-C3 which is a transparent casing with an aluminium heat sink.

The two M.2 enclosures are identical in the sense of features, functionality, and performance. The difference is in the design which allows you to pick the one best suited for you. Whether you want a clean style or fancy transparency.

The Red Devil RX 5700 arrived yesterday at BTR for evaluation priced at $389. We have been benching it versus the $349 RTX 2060 Founders Edition (FE) and the $399 RTX 2060 SUPER FE video cards using 44 games and 3 synthetic benchmarks.

PowerColor RX 5700 XT Red Devil Review

The general consensus at launch was that the Radeon RX 5700 series propelled AMD back into a competitive position at the upper-end of the enthusiast GPU market, but that third-party, custom cards would likely address the shortcomings of AMD’s reference design and make the Navi proposition all that much sweeter. Well, we’ve gotten our hands on one of the more sought after third-party Radeons of the last few generations – one of PowerColor’s Red Devil cards – and think that many of you are going to be pleased with what this custom Radeon RX 5700 XT can do. Take a look...
