Tech-PC has posted a review on the Corsair TwinX XMS4400 memory

The JEDEC DDR standard at present only covers memory up to 200MHz (PC3200) but companies such as Corsair, OCZ and Geil have been producing modules rated at higher speeds than this for the enthusiast market for some time now. Today we take a look at Corsair's TwinX XMS4400 memory. TwinX memory from Corsair is tested before packaging as a pair at its maximum rated speed using an Asus P4C800 and in this case is rated at 275MHz, or 550MHz DDR, at 3-4-4-8 latencies and 2.75v. This provides a theoretical maximum of 4.4GB/sec or 8.8GB/sec when used in a dual channel configuration. Corsair say that they also test the modules using AMD systems although I can only presume they only do this at lower frequencies as it seems unlikely that anyone would be running a Athlon XP or 64 system with that kind of memory bus speed.
