Lync for Windows 8/RT has been updated

Microsoft today released a new update to its Lync "Modern" app for Windows 8/RT, adding a number of features that were previously available only in the desktop version. Key among these are some features that make the app usable by Lync Meeting presenters.

"We are proud to bring you this new version of Lync and are excited to continue adding features, improve performance and make the app even better," the Lync team notes in a new post to the Lync Team Blog. "We continue to listen to feedback and starting today, you can now manage your meeting participants from the modern Lync app."
