Hardware Avenue has posted a review on the Creative Sound Blaster Live! Platinum 5.1 sound card.

Sound cards. One of the only aspects of the pc that require years without upgrades. Once a good sound card, always a good sound card is the attitude of many average pc users. Introducing the newest addition to the already strong Sound Blaster Live! series, the Sound Blaster Live! Platinum 5.1. With the Sound Card market now totally under control by Creative Multimedia (especially since the purchase of Aureal), this sound card would seem to be a dud, but by the looks of things, Creative have pulled out a winner.
