AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 25.11.1 released
AMD has dropped its Adrenalin Edition 25.11.1 graphics drivers for Windows 10 (64-bit) and 11 users. These updates cover the latest AMD Ryzen processors, including the buzzworthy Ryzen 5 7500X3D.
The driver's new list also includes compatibility with some popular games like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Anno 1171 (Pax Romana), plus ARC Raiders. If you're playing these titles now without issues, good for you.
However, there are still some issues to be resolved. Some users might still face random application crashes while using certain anti-cheat systems like Easy Anti-Cheat. We've seen this feature before in past updates, so it's nothing brand new.
Beyond game support, AMD aims to fix bugs that have been annoying people. One thing getting added back, apparently lost due to the driver installer itself causing issues sometimes, is CPU performance metrics and tuning options within their own software suite.
Still, though these fixes are underway, some specific problems linger for now. For example, playing Cyberpunk 2077 with path tracing enabled could trigger intermittent crashes or loading timeouts when bringing up saved games. However, AMD is already aware of this issue and is in communication with the developers to resolve it promptly.
Other known head-scratchers include crashes and driver hangs while running Battlefield 6 on particular AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 systems, plus issues reported with the Roblox Player (at least for Car Zone Racing & Drifting) when you quickly switch between media tabs using an RX 7000 GPU.
Texture weirdness or corruption in Battlefield 6 might also show up if you're trying to record and stream. But the change seems limited mostly to specific Radeon hardware, not across the board.
As another temporary fix tip, some users have noticed that enabling Radeon Anti-Lag mode number two inside CS:GO (on its DX11 engine) doesn't actually pop up as an option on select AMD graphics cards like the RX 9070 XT. Switching to Vulkan instead might bring it back for now.
Finally, there's a known hiccup if you connect your system via high-bandwidth HDMI while keeping a display in standby mode; this could potentially cause random crashes too. For now, many suggest trying a DisplayPort link as an around-the-clock measure until AMD finds the proper fix.
