AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 25.9.2 released

AMD has recently rolled out the Adrenalin Edition 25.9.2 drivers, which bring support for both Windows 10 and 11 platforms. The latest release includes several exciting additions and improvements.

One of the notable features in this update is the introduction of support for AMD Radeon RX 7700 graphics products. This addition enhances the range of compatible hardware for users to enjoy seamless gaming experiences.

In terms of new game support, Adrenalin Edition 25.9.2 now accommodates Dying Light: The Beast, expanding the library of games that can be played with these drivers.

However, AMD has also recognized and resolved several issues that were impacting the user experience. For example, corruption may occur while playing games based on the Godot engine using Vulkan, whereas intermittent application crashes might arise when playing Cronos: The New Dawn with Ray Tracing enabled on certain Radeon RX 9070 series graphics products. Furthermore, using the Oasis Driver in conjunction with Windows Mixed Reality headsets may result in a failure to launch.

Unfortunately, despite these fixes, several known issues continue to exist. Users may experience intermittent application crashes while playing The Last of Us Part II on Radeon RX 7900 series graphics products or NBA 2K25 in MyCareer mode on Radeon RX 9070 series graphics products. To resolve these problems as soon as possible, AMD is actively working on a solution that will be released once it's ready.

Additionally, users may encounter other issues such as corruption (missing scan travel lines) while playing GTFO on Radeon RX 7000 series graphics products or intermittent application crashes or driver timeouts when loading saved games in Cyberpunk 2077 with path tracing enabled. In some cases, stuttering might be observed while gaming with VR headsets at specific refresh rates on certain AMD Radeon graphics products like the Radeon RX 7000 series. As a temporary workaround, users are recommended to change their refresh rate.

Other known issues include intermittent system crashes while playing World of Warcraft and watching YouTube on Radeon RX 7900 GRE graphics products or application crashes while gaming with EA Javelin anticheat and Radeon Anti-Lag enabled on specific AMD graphics products. Users experiencing these problems are advised to disable Radeon Anti-Lag as a temporary fix.
