Flyoobe 1.21 released
Belim has unveiled an updated version of his Windows Setup Assistant, known as Flyoobe. This latest iteration boasts several key improvements that further enhance its compatibility with the Windows 11 ecosystem.
Notably, the design guidelines have undergone refinement to better align with the aesthetic standards of Windows 11. In addition to this visual upgrade, a significant number of minor bugs have been resolved, effectively bringing an end to the preview phase.
While the new version does not currently support dark mode, the developer is considering two possible approaches: either subtly dimming the entire user interface or implementing a more comprehensive switch between light and dark modes. This decision will likely require some additional time for implementation.
The developers have decoupled one of the most notable features from Flyoobe's predecessor, Flyby11, into a separate process to streamline the application and reduce its overall executable size. Specifically, this involves the patch functionality for unsupported hardware, which was once seamlessly integrated into Flyoobe but is now handled independently.
Fortunately, this change does not mean that the patch option has disappeared entirely. Instead, it has been simplified and rebranded as a standalone tool called Flyby11, which can be launched directly from within Flyoobe or using a more advanced command-line flag, "Flyby11.exe --f-u-tpm."
