Belim has released version 1.50 of the FlyOOBE guided setup and upgrade experience tool for Windows, a powerful tool that enables users to install Windows 11 on unsupported hardware. The update brings significant performance improvements, including faster rendering speed and reduced memory usage, making it more responsive and stable. New features have been added, such as script-driven input fields for the Extensions engine and several new Extension scripts, including ViVeTool Bridge and Winget Bulk Installer. Additionally, the Online Update Checker has been redesigned with a retro aesthetic, providing an unmistakable look that's sure to delight users.

FlyOOBE 1.50 released

Belim has rolled out version 1.50 of the FlyOOBE guided setup and upgrade experience tool for Windows, a powerful tool that enables users to install Windows 11 25H2 on unsupported hardware, among other advanced features.

The latest update brings significant improvements in performance and stability across several key areas. Specifically, the background rendering feature introduced in the previous version has been thoroughly revamped to deliver better results. UUsers now have the flexibility to select from various background styles through Settings > Pick Background, which streamlines the overall user experience. Moreover, the tool's internal gradient-based renderer replaces the old image-based handler, which previously led to issues with locked image files and unreleased GDI objects.

The 1.50 update boasts considerable memory savings and significantly enhanced rendering speeds, resulting in a more responsive UI that can handle demanding tasks with ease. Additionally, a new feature has been introduced that allows for script-driven input fields in the Extensions engine through specific commands (e.g., # Input: true and # InputPlaceholder). This enhancement ensures maximum compatibility across various platforms, while also providing optional console, silent, or log host modes; status updates; progress tracking; and a clean placeholder user experience.

To further expand the tool's capabilities, new extension scripts have been introduced. The ViVeTool Bridge script allows users to enable, disable, or query hidden Windows features using their corresponding IDs. This feature supports lists of IDs separated by commas for maximum flexibility. Another notable addition is the Ninite Bulk Installer script, which enables the creation of a Ninite bundle URL from app slugs/names and downloads it to the desktop with a predictable filename before launching the installer.

Another useful script that has been added is the Winget Bulk Installer. This script empowers users to quickly install multiple packages in one run by separating their IDs using space, comma, or newline characters.

To top it all off, the Online Update Checker has been thoroughly redesigned with a retro aesthetic reminiscent of Windows 2000 and Game Boy, resulting in an unmistakable yet nostalgic look that's sure to delight users.
