Belim has unveiled a revamped version of FlyOOBE, an intuitive setup and upgrade experience for Windows that empowers users to install Windows 11 on hardware that doesn't officially support it.

The latest iteration, version 1.51, introduces several significant enhancements. Notably, the extensions system has undergone further refinements. The PowerShell-based engine now boasts expanded capabilities, while Flyby11 (UpgradeOOBE.exe) is seamlessly integrated as a native extension within FlyOOBE, thereby streamlining the Windows 11 upgrade process.

One of the most exciting features in this release is the introduction of a dedicated upgrade tile on the home dashboard for users running Windows 10 systems. This tile allows users to initiate the Windows 11 upgrade workflow directly, complete with comprehensive help instructions and guidelines.

Furthermore, FlyOOBE now displays the author or source of each extension, such as 'Flyby11 by Belim' or 'ViVeTool-bridge by Albacore.' This added transparency enables users to understand where each tool originates from, which is particularly crucial in today's world of software development.
