FlyOOBE 2.4 released

FlyOOBE 2.4 has officially launched, bringing a notable update to its platform capabilities.

A key part of this latest release involves a shift towards user-centricity, an idea Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella touched on previously by suggesting we move past debates over AI being too simple versus complex. FlyOOBE seems to be picking up that same vibe with the debut of Slopilot, their new AI-based OOBE control.

This isn't about rejecting AI or presenting it as some kind of adversary; instead, Slopilot is designed from a user empowerment viewpoint. It gives people clearer tools for understanding and managing which aspects of artificial intelligence are active within Windows 11, letting them decide what works best for their setup.

Alongside this focus on control over AI features, the update also offers optional deep cleanup paths through external utilities like RemoveWindowsAI. This adds another layer of customization freedom, users can now choose not just to engage with certain OOBE functions but potentially disable even more granular elements if desired.

The enhanced user choice seems to have a ripple effect throughout other FlyOOBE sections, boosting their utility too. Browser detection within the Browser OOBE is now improved for greater precision, and the Extensions engine has received an upgrade offering broader coverage.

Then there's the global search across all areas; it's been refined in this latest version, making information retrieval smoother than before.

Lastly, a few smaller tweaks have cleaned up core functions internally and smoothed out minor interactions, keeping FlyOOBE feeling nimble.
