Belim has announced the release of Flyoobe 1.2, which includes new "OOBE" windows designed for customized installations and repairs of Windows 11. It currently supports MCT and Rufus while exploring the possibility of incorporating a native solution. Flyoobe encompasses upgrades, clean installations, and the comprehensive out-of-box experience. Additionally, it enhances ISO mounting capabilities and minimizes RAM consumption. Flyby11 and Flyoobe are set to merge in an upcoming release.

What’s new in Flyoobe 1.2

• New "OOBE" windows for custom Windows 11 installs and repairs. Currently rolled out in Preview with support for MCT and Rufus (limited CLI, no stable automation yet). Still considering whether to add a native solution, similar to the very first Flyby11 builds, holding off until future releases. Flyoobe now already covers the full spectrum: upgrades, clean installs, and the complete out-of-box experience
• Improved ISO mounting now filters volumes to only those that actually have a drive letter
• Minor performance optimizations and reduced RAM usage.
• Heads up: Flyby11 and Flyoobe will be merged into a single project in an upcoming release, along with further code cleanups and improvements. I’ll drop the full Flyoobe source once both projects are merge, so right now itas just a bit too messy, and Ive still got time for some refactoring
