APH Networks: SilverStone FLP02 Review

One line I remember from the last episode of my favorite show, The Office, is when Andy Bernard says, "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you have actually left them." In many ways, it is easy to pass life by quickly and not take a step back to bask in the day. In the moment, we often just think about what is next and, in doing so, forget how to process the current event. Granted, reminiscing usually is only for good things, because I am not sure if anyone chooses to relive bad memories. When it comes to computing, I often reminisce about the simpler use of computers. My childhood included playing Adobe Flash games, which was a quintessential experience. In elementary school, each class had about two to three PCs and during the winter, when it was too cold to go outside, we would crowd around a beige desktop tower and CRT monitor to watch someone play a round of a random game before we swapped out and let others have a turn. It was not until my third or fourth grade when all these older systems were replaced with black desktop towers that looked sleeker and were more performant. Today, we have a new computer case with all the vintage vibes. Sporting a beige appearance, the SilverStone FLP02 is a retro-themed enclosure with modern internals. Will this case transport us back to the good old days, or does it come with some cobwebs too? Let us read on to find out!
